carolyn220 says "This jumperoo is a life saver!" about Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo

The rainforest jumperoo is a fantastic product. We bought it for my son when he was about 4 months old because he was ready to move, but couldnt. He would jump forever in this thing and it was WONDERFUL!!! We are now on baby number 2 and it is just as great the second time. It gives me 20 to 30 minutes of peace. Which you can't put a price on!

This has great toys for the kids. My 2-year-0ld actually plays with the toys while the baby bounces. It is great for that! It is adjustable for tall kids, which mine are! k

The batteries last quite a while and the music is not annoying. Which is important to think of because you will be listening to it a lot.

The base is very stable and you dont have to worry about the child crawling out. I do wish it folded for travel, although i think it can, but it is too hard to fold it, so we leave it where it is, or drag it to another room.

Overall i love this product it is brightly colored with great toys and is very durable..
...

carolyn220 says "Once you go mac.. you don't go back!" about Apple iMac Desktop Computer

I adore my imac. I use it every day for graphic design and home use. It is so easy to use and nice and compact. I love that it is just the screen. It is amazingly small considering the power in it.

I did have trouble with the mac store when i bought it because my first one wouldnt start right out of the box. They wanted to refirbish it, but i fought to get a new one b/c i had bought a new one. I won finally after a week.

Otherwise.. you turn the baby on and it runs great. I love the features of ical and such. I am now addicted and want an iphone so i can take my calendar with me. The mac is great with graphics and everything. They are also very well priced. I find them much easier to use than pcs. All you do is drag what you want where you want it.. no opening things in other programs and such.

The convient dock is great for those of us on the computer a lot. I also love the fact that the keyboard has USB plugs. It is very easy to use when you have things to upload and such. ...
...

carolyn220 says "I loved my experience at OU!" about Ohio University-Main Campus

I loved my Ohio university experience. I worked my way through college and with the help of loans and scholarships did it on my own. Although, these are different times, i had a great experience on and off campus while in Athens. I was in a great school in the Arts and had wonderful professors. Most of them took extra time for students if they needed.

The parking in Athens is HORRIBLE.. so if you are taking a car you need to pay for a parking pass, which is expensive and usually far away from where you are living b/c there are only limited lots. I would suggest leaving the car at home. Most places, even off campus, are within walking distance of your classes.

The off campus housing is expensive. But i don't know how different that is from other colleges. You need to be careful who you rent from. One of the main rental agencys really try to rip off students.. ask around before you sign a lease.

Over all though, it was a great college. A wonderful education and a lot of fun. As for...
...

carolyn220 says "I love my peg perego double stroller" about Peg Perego Aria Twin Double Stroller

I recently got a peg perego aria double stroller second hand. I personally love it although it looks like the reviews are tough. It is harder to steer once both kids are in it due to weight distribution but i assume that happens with a lot of strollers. My favorite part is the light weight of the stroller... and i love that my kids sit side by side. They can see and entertain each other. Though this does make it hard to maneuver through some things, i find it more helpful than hurtful.

This thing is wonderful to travel with. It is so easy to fold and open up. All you do is pull basically and it has unfolded. It is not quite a one handed job, but i can do it while holding my baby.

The steering is a bit hard when both kids are in the stroller, as stated in other reviews, but i dont mind it.. it is a lot better than my previous stroller, so that is why. It doesn't have a big wheels so you do have to work a bit to get it over some cracks. I got it second-hand so i can't speak for price...
...

carolyn220 says "At&t is average for cell phone service" about AT&T (formerly Cingular)

I have had at&t service for over 5 years now. In my area it gets the best service. It is a bit spotty and to be honest drops the calls quite frequently. Over all i do like the roll-over minutes because there are some months that i need them and extra minutes are very expensive. I also like the plan we have that i can talk to all At&t customers for free. This works out great because my family is long distance and we can talk as often and as much as we would like.

The downside is that the customer service is horrible. I once had charges on my phone for over $2,000 due to a mistake. The tower that was near my home was bouncing the signal or something. It was when you had roaming charges! Anyway.. when i was sitting in my room at home it looked like i was some place 3 hours away. Which of course, i wasn't. I called EVERY month to get this fixed. I would be on the phone for HOURS talking to several people before anyone would fix it. I often would get a customer service person who would tell...
...

carolyn220 says "this breast pump is a must have for nursing mothers" about Medela Manual Breast Pump

I love my medela manual breast pump. I am using it with my second child and it works just like new. I have the manual because i stay at home and prefer to naturally feed when i can, but this pump is perfect if i need a few hours away or while weaning. I have heard that the medela is also the best electric pump around.

The manual is easy to use, and doesn't make your hand hurt like some of them do. The clean up is easy, just boil to serilize. It is light weight and travels very well. I can throw it in my purse/diaper bag and then be on my way. I recently had surgery and took the pump with me to the hospital so i could pump while there and not ruin my supply.

I highly recommend this manual pump. I don't feel as if an electric pump is necessary. These are certainly more moderately priced and they are long lasting. I think i paid around $35 for the set and it came with extra parts that need replaced. I have not had to go out and buy any extras, and i'm on kid #2!
...
