Fri, 30 Nov 2007 05:46:59 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/MyPoints--25775-review-db53 caroljean1 4 http://www.viewpoints.com/Budget-Truck-Rental-review-870c2 When me and husband were moving 500 miles from KY to AL.  We made a reservation with Budget Truck Rental 3 days prior.  When we went to pick up the rental, we had to wait several hours for someone to deliver it.  After we had our car on the carrier, we noticed that part of the metal was broken.  Not only was it broken, but it was also rusty, meaning it had been broken for a while.  When I called them, they put me on hold indefinitely.  They had no intention whatsoever of trying to remedy the situation, even though they strung me along for several hours (wasting my time) trying to make me think they were going to find another car carrier.  Their roadside assistance is a joke.  After we got to AL, I called the company headquarters to complain.  They told me that we were responsible for making sure the equipment was working before we rented it!!!  Isn't that what Budget employees should do?  This was the first time we had ever rented a car carrier.  We didn't know what to...... Fri, 30 Nov 2007 05:22:32 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/Budget-Truck-Rental-review-870c2 caroljean1 1 http://www.viewpoints.com/Honda-Accord-2005-review-734c I purchased this car used in May '07.  It had about 29,000 miles on it, but it still had the new car smell.  It is equipped with most of the "bells and whistles" except for a sunroof.  Very smooth acceleration.  I get about 33 miles per gallon highway and I would probably get more, if I would do the speed limit.  : )  This car runs really quiet, when you are stopped at a light; you can barely tell it's running.  However, it does have a tendency to "lurch" when the engine kicks in.  And at highway speeds, you do hear road noise.  Honda could have done a better job with the insulation.  Other than that, I have been happy with the performance and the gas mileage. ...
