carlyandmelissa says "Easy way to manage a large photograph collection as it grows" about Picasa2

I have never used any other photo management program, but since this one is free so I can't complain! It was quick and easy to download and I never get any annoying registration messages like some other free programs. I like the way I can edit my pictures as I upload them or I can leave them as is until I have time to fix them. I also like the choice to let the program fix the highlighting, shadows, color contrast and temperature for you so you don't have to fine-tune everything yourself if you don't have time. Fixing red-eye is quick and easy, as is cropping. Also there are some neat features such as color tinting and soft focus effects. The only thing I have a hard time with is the file organization, it's easier to manage the names and groups of files using Windows and refreshing Picasa. I have over a thousand photos and they are safe in...

carlyandmelissa says "the best choice for safety" about Baby Trend Flex Lock Car Seat

After doing months of research on the safest carseat available, I chose this and was glad I did. It was a little more expensive than other newborn carseats but it had the safest ratings and it had the Flex-Loc base feature. I bought 3 bases and installed them in my car, my parents' car, and my babysitter's car. This was very convenient because the seat snapped in and out of the bases with zero installation time and stayed locked in place very securely. Switching a base to a different car was quite a hassle though, especially if it was an older car without the anchors. Also I found the straps difficult to use, they were constantly twisting and impossible to adjust length quickly. The handle was difficult to switch from the up and down positions, but it seemed much sturdier than other carseat handles, and the top is a triangle shape that makes it easier to carry at your side. When I bought this carseat it came with a stroller that the carseat snapped into and the stoller is absolutely...

carlyandmelissa says "dont know how i ever lived without it" about Got2b dazzling shine spray

I love this spray because it does so many things all in one... Usually when I blow-dry my hair straight it is still frizzy and poofy for several hours, and very dull-looking. I couldn't believe what this spray did for my hair and I rave about it to all my friends.. after I blow-dry my hair straight, I spray this on the top and underneath and concentrate on the ends. Then I use the blow dryer on low heat to go over it very quickly once more. The difference is huge, my hair stays shiny and smooth, and the poofiness dissappears immediately. It makes all the hard work of straightening my curly hair worth it. I've even tried it on naturally-dried hair, it keeps the curl under control and gives my hair a nice overall wave. Smells great too, even at the end of the day. When I ran out I tried to buy more at a different store that didn't carry this product line so I ended up buying a different more expensive brand. It wasn't nearly as good because it was too oily and weighed down my hair. This...

carlyandmelissa says "well worth the price" about Britax Marathon Car Seat

This carseat offered the most important features that other carseats can't even come close to. It can keep your baby rear-facing for the longest time, making it the safest choice, and it'll be the last carseat you'll ever have to buy. I also love the straps because they never get twisted and are so easy to adjust, especially when your baby needs a bulky coat one day or a light jacket the next. And the buckles are so easy to use. Installation takes about 30 seconds, I switch the carseat between 3 different cars every day without a hassle. Overall it's the most comfortable for the baby and the most convenient for me, and obviously the most important benefit- the safest money can buy. When you consider the cost of replacing a cheaper carseat when the baby outgrows it, this more expensive carseat ends up being a bargain because you won't need to replace it. The only problem I have is the weight and the bulk. I can't switch the carseat to a different car and hold the baby at the...
