canadamom says "The only machine I will ever own." about Bernina Bernina 1008

Grandma has this, I have this, my adult daughters have this.... and would buy this exact model for anyone! The selling point was when we originally bought it my kids were learning to sew. The sales rep offered to have my kids try it out, yes try it at age 9 and 7. The rep convinced me they would not hurt it and they have NEVER had a problem. Nor have I nor my other realtives with this model. I have made literally a thousand or more quilts on it for donations to assisted living buildings. It NEVER jams.

canadamom says "Bounce does not bounce in the dryer stays put perfectly!" about Bounce Dryer Bar

The first time I tried it I did not like it. This time I really do like it. It stays put on the dryer fins. First time it fell off. This time perfect. It is still on and hanging on tight. The aroma sure makes a difference. Not overwhelming at all. It changes color a little but you can still see the white is there so it is still active. I would and have bought naother one for when this one runs out. There was a short and longer time frame on the new one refill I bought.
...

canadamom says "Why not set the temperature in the factory? Or let us guess?" about Frigidaire FEB24S2AS / FEB24S2AB Electric Single Oven

The very first item I tried in my one hour old oven was a frozen pizza. What a disaster. It would not brown after 90 minutes on 450.

So I read the manual, customer must adjust internal temperature.

Tried that 5 times. Finally called service. They came out with a meter and said Yup you need to keep adjusting it up and down. 350 is no longer 350.

Called Frigidaire and they confirmed Yup customer needs to adjust. We cannot make an oven run at 350 even though the number on the front says 350!

It is a guessing game every single meal.

And it is a brand new oven!
...

canadamom says "Defective ice maker in 8 months!" about Frigidaire Frigidaire Gallery 22.6 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator

Frigidaire 22.6 side by side was purchased in November. In 8 months the ice maker is not working. Service called and I wsa told it needs to be replaced.

Temperature in referigerator unit does not stay stable. The top shelf will freeze and the bottom shelf the milk will spoil being too warm.

It is also very hard to see on the first shelf items to the back. The shelf space is narrow.
...

canadamom says "wall oven temperature not accurate" about Frigidaire FEB30S5DBH

So I have a new oven. Very first time it took two hours to bake a potato on 350.

Then I tried biscuits at 400 should be 8-10 minutes. That took 25 and raw inside.

Called service. They adjusted it up 10 then 25 degress.

Potatoes agin at the new internal temp of 390. Again at two hours potatos are not cooked completely.

This is Frigidaire feb30s5dhb.

Frozen pizza 400 for 10 minutes took 35.

Service tells me internal temp is never set on a oven customer must adjut accordingly and learn to turn it to 400 when you want 350 etc.

For a new oven this is not acceptable.
...

This has to be the best ever kitchen item I own. I received it after I hosue sat for a couple many years ago. It works for all mixing needs big or little. My kids love the unusual of a can of frozen orange juice in it with a little water and watch it mix! Easy fun !...
