The two decide to make a list of all the things they's like to do before THEIR END comes. Travel to exotic locales,car racing and air plane parachuting are just some of the fun activities.Its all in good fun yet sadly the two say good bye.They may have only met briefly yet they'll have eternity in the great beyond... One is a pre-school aged girl,the other a school aged boy.The movie has police and other investigators interviewing parents,relatives and community people while sordid plans to kidnap the children are put into play. It is a stirring movie that ends in a twist showing how gov't officials are not always the best examples in the community. The movie has a group of friends and family that ridicule Lars for being too self-absorbed and not spending more time with others.To "get even" with them,Lars in turn buys a life-size plastic doll which he carts around everywhere he goes,ie ,restaurants,church, famiy gatherings,etc. He makes everyone interact with her to the point of ridiculousness,yet he does make a point. Lars uses the plastic imported doll as an interim "blankie" until he is ready to befriend a human person. The movie reveals that Lars,sadly,never knew the  love and nurture of a mother figure.
