byubengal says "Great Bike for cruising and errands-Love the suspension" about Raleigh Comfort Bike

I'm 53 years old and had bought a Schwinn bike (it had a reputation as one of the best bike the last time I bought a bike) to ride for pleasure and errands to save on rising fuel prices. It was a poor ride, the gears were inconsistent and the chain kept falling off while riding it. So I blamed 3 falls on the bike, chucked it and bought the Raleigh Comfort Bike on a recommendation. It's a little pricey but well worth every penny. It's easy to maneuver and the suspension makes it a smooth ride. It's not about high performance but the gears, which are tabbed and mounted on the handlebars and easily changed, make uneven terrain a breeze. The only negative is the homogenous manual so specific model variables are not addressed. Sometimes it's a guessing game as to whether the manual applies to your bike or not. Highly recommend the...

byubengal says "Super Product--Not much need for another oven--Versatile!" about George Foreman GRV660 Toaster Oven with Convection Cooking

It's more vertical so it doesn't take much counterspace but it's big inside with two shelves plus a bread warmer on top so you can cook an entire meal at one time. It has a rotessorie, too! The oven is big enough for a regular (9 inch) square casserole dish. The timer is nice, too, and a great safety feature. Just set it and listen for the bell. It toasts evenly everytime. Great for cooking fish, vegetables, brownies--everything! It even has a "handle" to pull out the shelves without a hotpad. Everyone I know has been happy with their George Foreman products which is why I ordered the toaster oven. And, I wasn't disappointed. It would make a great wedding or housewarming gift. I'm ordering another one for our other home. It sits attractively on the counter. —...

byubengal says "Fantastic plain yogurt and I don't like plain yogurt!" about Trader Joe's Greek Yogurt

What a wonderful product! Plain yogurt is known for its healthful benefits and is a requirement on a popular diet and Greek Style wins for tastes and consistency--hands down. I've tried the regular (whole milk) version and the no-fat version and find the no-fat tastes just as good and is lower in calories and carbohydrates. Add a few berries and toasted flax seeds, and it's a healthy snack or dessert. It doesn't take much to satisfy your hunger. I add a dollop to salmon and it's a wonderful, creamy addition especially with a sprig of dill. It tastes like sour cream--only better. I've used it instead of sour cream to make the famous onion dip and it's super! It's a great substitute for sour cream and more nutritious! Trader Joe's products can't be beat for quality and...

What a wonderful gift! It's the only sound system you need for a small apartment and is ideal for seniors in small living quarters. It's compact design lets you enjoy outstanding sound quality almost anywhere in your home and the box fades into the background. BOSE lives up to its hype! Stations are easily set and the remote makes it very handy. It has additional inputs/outlets so you can connect your television and enjoy those wonderful cable tv music stations without turning on the television. We have found it to be the best radio in the house for listening to sporting events. In fact, we often turn off the t.v. audio and watch the picture while listening to the game on the radio. The CD player is easy to use with superior sound. The LED clock is easily seen. I wish I could afford one for each room of the house however it's pricey. Of course, we've all learned--you get what you pay for. ...

The colors and clarity are superb in the Panasonic 42" Plasma. No need to go to sports bars to watch the big game. You won't find a better picture. Not only can you see the field clearly but you can see the fans in the stands clearly! It's better than being at the game! We went to the store and compared televisions without reading reviews. After buying this Panasonic, we found it was the highest rated at the time so it shows the lab tests and recommendations are for real. We plan to buy another plasma HDTV and plan to get the 50" Panasonic because we're so happy with this one. When watching a few movies, we've found the audio leaves something to be desired but that is rare. All in all, a great product and we're thrilled with our...

Vista is not an easy transition from superior XP. The menus are not user friendly. Sometimes the icons on the desktop are huge and sometimes they are normal size. My husband and I regret not paying the extra and getting XP. Maybe it will be better in a year or so when they get the bugs worked out. —...

byubengal says "Great! Had it for almost 20 years. Nice rebate checks annually" about Discover - Credit Card

I do not know how Discover Card's interest rate compare with others, but I don't pay an annual fee but receive a nice rebate check each year. Apparently, this nicety is ending but they will deposit your rebate in your bank account. The drawback is that I don't like to share bank information with everyone, but financial institutions seem to know everything about you anyway. Few places don't accept Discover Card which is marked improvement over past years. When it's time to pull out the plastic, Discover Card is always my first choice. —...

byubengal says "Dependable, economical, and roomy." about Subaru Forester - 2004

The Subaru Forestor is a "mini-suv" with a comfortable ride and cargo space to carry a 5-ft bookcase. Since it is on a passengar car frame, it's easy to drive (smooth manual transmission) and great gas mileage--over 30 mpg on the highway without airconditioning use. The only negatives are a slightly noisy ride, unlike a luxury auto, and the audio settings which are not readable if it's sunny as the settings are very "thinly lit" numbers. The cup holders are small so they leave something to be desired. But there are lots of positives and if, and when, this car wears out, I'll be buying another Subaru...
