It was almost as if it attracted the fleas because this last summer, we had a horrible flea problem, so I would give our dog a bath with flea shampoo, let it sit for 5 minutes, watch the dead fleas go down the drain, dry him off, and check him thoroughly, then as soon as he would go outside to go potty, I could see the fleas jumping on him because he has white on his legs and it was so easily visible that it wasn't doing its job. She couldn't sit up on her own yet, but she was so tall that she couldn't fit in the infant car seat anymore. We had to find her a bigger car seat, but I wanted one that reclined like the infant car seat, so that she would be comfortable, and not be falling forward. The Triumph reclines the farthest and it is make of a microfiber material, so that when she had an accident, all I had to do is remove the liner and rinse it off in the sink, stains just rinse off. It has worked perfect. The straps are very easy to ajust....
