buttermilkgirl says "Too crowded and not family friendly" about Outer Banks, North Carolina

I grew up going to the Outer Banks, so it is a complete shame to have to bash it now. It used to be a lovely beach, reasonably priced and family friendly. Now it is a money making machine only. The beaches are really crowded and the houses are outrageously expensive. Forget about riding bikes along the shore road as people are driving crazily and fast, and it is really dangerous to let your kids try to walk to the beach alone! Parking is horrible if you are not staying close to the beach, also. But if you love to shop at Walmart while on vacation, they have a huge one! Too bad such a nice historic place is such a mess now....

buttermilkgirl says "The reason beer was invented" about Guinness Stout Draught Beer

The Beer of beers. Did you know Guinness is actually good for you? It's loaded with essential minerals. It also has less calories than many other beers, including those flimsy pale lite beers that taste like flavored water. Guinness is beautiful to look at, easy to find, and always a great value. I even make a Guinness Stout Stew that my kids love! The alcohol cooks off, naturally!
...

buttermilkgirl says "great for travelling" about Crystal Light - On The Go - Iced Tea

These are great for carrying in the purse. They are small and don't take up any room. They are easy to use, come in great flavors and add some nutrition to plain water. Since they are pricey I only buy them on sale, which isn't often enough. A box has a lot though. I love the raspberry flavor!
...

buttermilkgirl says "mint+chocolate=heaven on earth" about Junior Mints

Perfect taste combination. I always get these at the movie theater. Also easy to eat in the car, no messy wrapper to deal with. I really love Peppermint Patties, but they can be hard to eat quickly. I do love the way the Junior Mints freshen the breath without that "mint in mouth" flavor....

buttermilkgirl says "good product, could be better" about Jergens Natural Glow Self Tanning Daily Moisturizer

Yes, I use this product regularly, but I find it to not live up to it's potential. It wears off on my clothes, especially my bra straps!! The smell is unpleasant, except for the one with the skin firming action. I switched to that one recently, and find the smell less offensive. It doesn't seem to affect my skin firmness at all though. I use the one for faces only too, but it doesn't work as well at giving a tanned look.
...

buttermilkgirl says "yummy!" about Gatorade - Propel Fitness Water in Melon Flavor

Love to drink Propel, satisfies sweet tooth, added nutrition a plus. This flavor is my favorite! I like it even when it not cold, it still has a great flavor. I usually buy it at a convenience store before going out for a run in the park, it's very portable....
