busycharles says "The Embrace offers a one of a kind shave" about Gillette Venus Embrace Women's Razor

The Gillette Embrace was not what I was expecting it to be. I was a bit unsure how 5 blades would end up being better than the typical 3...I now know. The 5 blades just glided over my skin. The typical 3 bladed razors would always give me some trouble on my thighs, I didn't have any uncomfortable feelings anywhere on my legs or underarms. I didn't have any nicks or cuts or razor burn, and that's a great feeling.

My one and only reason for not giving this all 5 stars for those wonderful 5 blades is because it's said that you can use the Embrace without shaving gel... I have to disagree. Before using the Embrace I was using the Intuition, the Embrace blades do not offer enough of a moisture strip to go with out shaving gel, thus leading to another expense and one less star.
...

The great reviews that I have found on the Internet about it are all right, it's superb!

I know that it's a dessert wine, but I love it all the time! It's not very expensive, it has a slightly sweet flavor of fruit and a slight fizz.

It's best served cold in a wine glass, not a flute, and it is suggested that it compliments fruits, desserts, or simply on it's own, but personally I think it tastes great with anything!

...

busycharles says "The Febreze Candles smell so good!" about Febreze Candles

Smelling these Febreze candles in the store just does not do them justice to what they will really smell like when you burn them! They smell so much better when they are burning, not to say that they smell bad when they are not, but that the scent that they provide while at rest is just not as aromatic. They do a great job of getting rid of odors and providing your house with a very comforting scent.

As for the decorative side of them, they can look good anywhere. Their simple design of a glass jar makes them the perfect addition to any decor in any room in your house. They are so nice looking in fact that when they are all gone I plan to re-use the jar for other candles...too bad the don't have refills for them, I would buy them!
...

Vocalpoint.com is a great site to get helpful info from other mothers and also give out your great advice to others. You get to try new products and give your opinion on them and hear what other women thought of those products as well. There are several topics going on at once and there is always something to do. I enjoy this site very much, one of my latest favorite message boards was one on Halloween costumes...Some of the responses were very funny and some gave me great ideas that were very helpful.

I know that this review is a bit vague but there is so much to do there that I don't feel like I could list everything and still do it justice! If your a mom and you like to give and get help from other mothers then check out the site, it's completely free.
...

busycharles says "Winster.com is a social community where friends help friends!" about Winster

This site was sent to me through an e-mail from Mypoints.com (another great site!) I checked it out and decided to play. I was given 200 free spins and got to pick a game that I wanted to play and then was sent into a room with other players. I made friends easily and had a great time. The next day I decided to go back and see how much it would cost to join, I didn't have to pay if I didn't want to. Every day you sign in you get 200 free spins (as a free player) you can sign up to pay, but in my situation (we have 2 homes and my other home only offers a very slow dial-up service that would not work with this game) it just seems best that I play for free. However you can buy day passes and get the same benefits of a paying member.

Here are some things about winster.com

The games are specifically designed to foster a sense of community and promote positive interaction. Players cooperate to help each other win prizes, rather than compete. At Winster.com, players play with each other, never...
...

busycharles says "S860 is a great little camera" about Samsung - S860 Digital Camera

I bought this camera because I was planning a vacation to Vegas, my husband and I are going to fly there. My other camera is the Nikon D50, it's a large and somewhat of a clunky camera. Don't get me wrong, I love that camera too but I wanted something cheap to bring with on the vacation...just in case we lost it or something we wouldn't be out much. My Nikon cost us over $800.00 where this Samsung was just under $100.00...that's a great price for such a great camera!

It's very easy to operate, it just so happens to use the same SD card as my Nikon and I just love that I can do some fun color changing editing right on the camera! It uses 2 AA batteries and has a 3x optical zoom (which is better than the digital zoom when it comes to getting those great 8x10 pictures. It has face detection which is nice but sometimes it detects things other than faces, but that's OK.

I purchased the silver one from Amazon.com. I can't wait to go on the vacation and take several pictures with it. I have...
...

busycharles says "Nikon D50, a great camera for beginners" about Nikon - D50 Digital Camera

This is a great camera that works great and is easy to use...if you read the helpful manual, if not, the basic functions are easy to operate. There are several picture modes to pick from, my personal favorite is the portrait mode, where the background is slightly blurred to be sure that your main focus is on the person and not what's behind them.

I love that I can switch from automatic to manual with just a flip of the switch. I can then blur the entire picture slightly or alot depending on the effect I want to achieve. You can take what's called RAW pictures, I've heard that it's something alot of professionals are using now, but I have never used this.

One of my favorite things about this camera is that I can change the lens very easily. This is a helpful feature in buying this camera as well as using it. If you cant afford a very large lens at the moment you can get the camera with a smaller lens on it and then buy larger lenses as you go. This is what I did. The camera came with a small...
...

I just happened to be visiting the Avon website when Magix was on the main page. I read about it and decided to give it a try. Let me tell you, my skin feels so soft, I don't worry about sun damage as much, it somehow hides my pores and makes my skin look all over better! Often times I wear it alone but on some occasions I have used it under makeup where it works sort of like a primer. It also keep the oil at bay so I don't get that shiny look. It lasts all day and into the night! I think it's a great product that's definitely worth buying!...

The Easton Press book club provides a wide variety of beautiful books for any of your reading needs. Each book is bound in genuine leather and accented with 22kt gold, inside the book has lustrous fabric end sheets, acid-neutral paper, gilded page ends, and a permanently bound-in satin ribbon page marker. They are magnificently illustrated and each book has paper that was selected for that specific book.

I love getting the books every month, but because they are expensive I am going to make sure that I read each of them cover to cover!

Just a note I am getting the 100 greatest books ever written, there are other sets as well.
...

My husband started watching that Green TV channel and all of a sudden we were going GREEN! We have started recycling, using those energy efficient light bulbs, using Green Works products and lots of other stuff too.

Anyhow, we're not here to talk about how we are going green we're here to talk about how much I like Green Works. First, I love that's it's made with all natural products, it works great for all of the cleaning needs that I have, it smells so good that I just have to quote to you what my husband said..."That Green Works stuff smells so good you just want to pull the top off and pour yourself a drink."

I can't wait till the dish soap is available! I wish they would make more products as well because it seems that there is so much out there that we use that's not GREEN...starting with air freshener...because I do so love that Green Works smell!
...

Around Christmas time my husband and I take a get away trip to Vegas. We don't go every year but we have gone there 2 times using Expedia and we are in the process of planning our 3rd trip with Expedia.

We have never had any problems with Expedia because they offer so much info. You can see where your hotel is located on a map, look at your rooms before you stay, see what others have to say about that hotel. Not to mention...my favorite part...you can change the departure time on your tickets (we like to sleep in a bit!) You can order event tickets and rent a car too. We've not used all of these features yet, but we're still traveling so eventually we will!
...

This is a very strong and durable air mattress. Well worth the money...and it is spendy. We bought this because we have kids (who like to jump on beds) and dogs (who like to sleep in the bed occasionally)

When we made the decision to get an air mattress for our camping trips we wanted something that would last. This is the only one that sounded like it could withstand the family.

Another cool thing to this mattress (aside from the cool camo print!!!) is that it comes with a versatile, rechargeable, dual power motor that inflates and deflates cordlessly or runs directly off the car battery so it only takes about a minuet and a half to inflate or deflate. There's a neat open and close thing so that when you get it full you don't have to take the pump out and lose any air...you just twist to close with no air loss!

No matter what kind of air mattress it is I will NEVER find them to be comfortable so I can't say that this is or is not any more or less comfortable than another one.

It was so easy to put up that I could have done it with out the help of my husband! In fact I think if it weren't for him trying to help me the first time we set it up I would have had it up sooner!!! It comes all nicely folded in a bag with the poles sorted into groups. The poles have an elastic band inside of them that hold them together and make set up a breeze. Even the rainfly took under 5 minuets to set up.

There is plenty of room inside with nice little mesh pockets to help you keep things organized and handy including a mesh attic. There are 2 large D shaped doors that aid in ventilation, and make it easy to get in and out.

Inside the tent we set up an air bed for my husband and I, our 2 girls sleep on the floor next to us in a sleeping bag and then we have a German Shepherd dog that sleeps at the foot of our bed (not on it) and there is still room for a suitcase and a cooler in there. So far we have only been able to take it out twice for 1 night only trips... It seemed to be long with out any real suspense, it was so predictable that I didn't enjoy it at all. The only non predictable thing about this movie is how it ended...and aside form me not being able to predict how it was going to end I did however predict that it was going to suck...and it did!

The actors were good, it would have been a lot better if the script and even the story in general was written better than it was.
...

Facebook is a great way to stick your nose into the lives of people you wouldn't normally talk to. Hence the "fake" friends for my title. I do have "real" friends on facebook, but there are also a lot of the "fake" ones. Some of it is just me wanting to see what they have been doing since I last seen them (like HS classmates) and some of my "friends" are people I used to be friends with but things like time or moving has made that impossible till now.

Ok there are also neat games that you can play with your friends, but your profile is not ever going to be as cool as on myspace...HOWEVER....I think that facebook is a bit more secure.
...

I started out with XM radio on one of those units that you stick to your dash and it plugs into the cigarette lighter thing. It worked great and I loved that no matter what state I was driving through there was a great signal and good music.

Then I went out a bought a new truck that had XM built in. At first I missed being able to see the name of the artist and the song at the same time, and I missed not being able to set it to tune to certain songs or artists that I liked to hear more than others...but I got over it!

I do love the variety on XM and that I can listen to it anywhere that I happen to be driving but I must say...I thought that XM was supposed to be commercial free, I mean that's why we have to pay for it right? Well I think that if you are paying for radio you should at least get to listen to it with out commercials. I'm not saying that they are real bad...you get usually one (slightly longer than normal) commercial every so often, but it's during those moments that I end...
...
