broker says "pricey, not worth the money, remote is a plus" about Edge - Tech Corp Digital Photo Frame

I have got this Edge 7 inch digital picture frame free after rebate with a camera that I have bought. When I got this I let go of my other 7 inch digital frame, thinking that there should not be much difference. However, this could not be hang on the wall; it was thick and heavier; it does not look symetrical. So definitely it is not worth the advertised price over $100 when a comparable Coby model can be bought for about its half price. The only plus is that it has a remote while some other models do not have it....

broker says "a cheaply priced, cheaply built printer, serves the purpose" about Dell 720 Photo Printer

I have had many Dell 720 printers since previously Dell used to send them for free with a labtop purchase. Well for my purposes I should say that it works fine. I only use it to print rebate forms, coupons, and etc. The only problem is though the paper feeder portion is broken the third time in the third printer of the same model I used with a little push. So it is really cheaply built. I should also say that it is not worth the list price at Dell's web site that is $49. The real price for the printer should be about $20 with the ink and it is possible to buy it for that price on ebay and likewise online shopping sites....

broker says "powerful media center but does it go into sleep" about HP Media Center 8100 series

I have HP 8100M replacing an old desktop at home. The fact that I had a 19 inch LCD monitor laying around made me think about buying this media tower since it does not come with a monitor. I should say that I am impressed by the hardware. It comes with all the RAM, processor and 500 GB hard drive; an ok video graphics card, tv and radio tuner, media center remote and vista home premium. Regardless though I cannot put the machine into sleep and that drives me crazy. Finally I formatted it and reinstalled all the programs and I can put it into sleep right now but now it wakes up basically whenever it wants to. Having this computer in my bed room it causes problems. Another thing is you cannot just shut down the computer it is not recommended. Even if you do it is difficult to turn it on. Sometimes I have to plug it off then plug it back on. I am not sure whether my computer is faulty but I realized that these problems are reported by other people on internet and it seems like a software problem......

broker says "elegant color nice hardware upgrades better design wouldn't hurt" about Dell Vostro 1500 Laptop

Dell Vostro 1500 provides the latest technology with a lot of nice hardware upgrades; such as different processor options, 1 or 2 GB RAM, bluetooth, integrated webcam options, higher version video cards, DVD writer, etc. While providing all these upgrades the price does not go up too much. Even with topping all upgrades one can have this computer at around $800 to $900. The same upgrades would cost about twice as much if the computer is a Mac or a Thinkpad. Of course there is catch I believe and that is durability. Despite that black color is an elegant color, which is a difference between the previous Inspiron 6400 and E1505 model with this model, the computer looks even cheaper built. Probably that tells something that computer should last more than a couple of years or more. Well with the fast advancing technology one may not want to spend too much money on a labtop computer and just gets this one as I did unless if the search is for a smaller and a lighter labtop....

broker says "IS is a necessary upgrade but camera could be smaller" about Canon - PowerShot A570 IS

Canon A570 IS gathers several nice features those are too important not to have with a nice price. IT is around $150 to $200 in the market and with that price you get a camera that is 7.1 mega pixel, 4X zoom and IS technology. It runs on AA batteries and 2 of them is enough unlike some previous versions of Canon with same properties. Therefore the camera is light though not light nor small as Canon SD series. This camera also uses secure digital memory cards, which are quite cheaper than some other type of memory cards out there. SD cards are also more convenient because there are other devices those use them. The camera has overall a little cheap built to it but for this price with this features you can't complain. I have it and the only other Canon I would prefer over this model up to $300 cost would be Canon S3 IS, which would serve different purposes with its 12X zoom and bulkiness so they are not really in the same category....
