brneys says "Not as good as they once were" about Thrifty

I just rented a car for a week while on vacation and we used Thrifty. We were given a 4door Suzuki something that was scaled down (did not come with the bells and whistles you'd see in other cars these days). There was no cruise control, the driver seat was manual for adjustment, not electric. The mph window was on the 10s so you had to actually pay attention to your speed by counting the hash marks in between the 10, 20, 30, etc. The seat could not be lifted up for shorter drivers such as myself so seeing the hood of the car was impossible for me.

The interior had been cleaned however the outside was not washed. It was very dirty as if it went off roading.Ever since their merge with the other rental company service has gone downhill. You are charged for just about everything, they don't offer many perks these days. It used to be if you returned your car before your due date/time they made the adjustment and credited you accordingly. Now if you return the car the day before or the day after...
...

brneys says "I nearly pee'd my pants laughing" about I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry

I've always been a huge Adam Sandler fan and I have to say this was one of my top favorites with him. Ving Raimes was PERFECT for his role, The shower scene was a complete hoot and I haven't laughed like that in a long time!

Some scenes may not be appropriate for younger children, my 13 yr old turned away if it embarassed her but overall no issues. I love the way Adam Sandler uses all of his friends (example Rob Schneider) and former SNL cast members in all of his movies they all play off of each other very well.

...

brneys says "Samsung A707" about Samsung - Sync a707 Cell Phone

The Samsung is not a bad phone. The screen is larger and everything is fairly clear and crisp so you are not forced to squint. An additional memory card can be added to it as well. It is lightweight and easily carried in your pocket. The phone is also flat which makes for easy transport. The camera takes decent photos.

The downside to the phone is you cannot set the phone to roam if you are in an area that does not provide your cel service (for example I was in Tacoma, Washington but my provider AT/T had no towers near where I was, it was 26 miles from me and I could not force my phone to "roam" or pick up another provider). So that made it very difficult to use my phone. It is a flip phone which can be easily broken or loosened much like other flip phones.

...
