brigs03 says "Warmth of a boot - lightness/support of a running shoe!" about MUCK Arctic Boots for Women

These are the first boots I've ever owned that keep my feet warm no matter what! The Muck Boot feets my (narrow) feet and is so lightweight I can walk in it like a tennis shoe. The boots I used to wear were bulky and heavy and I'd get tired just picking my feet up. Not the Muck Boot. These are great for hunting - they keep are comfortable to walk in but your feet don't get cold if you sit.
...

brigs03 says "A great FICTION novel" about The Da Vinci Code

If you keep in mind that this is a work of FICTION, it is one of the best novels I have read in a long time - and is probably my favorite book second to Dan Brown's Angels & Demons.

Dan Brown bases a lot of the book in fact, but you need to remember it's fiction and he does take some liberties to help his storyline. The plot keeps you guessing the entire time - its a great page-turner. If you are intersted in history, art, or religion this is a must-read!
...

brigs03 says "Codebreaking for the 21st century" about Digital Fortress

All of Dan Brown's books are great page-turners and Digital Fortress is no different. My favorite part of Dan Brown is that his books - though fiction - are always based on facts.

Digital Fortress is about 21st century codebreaking and government monitoring of emails. It really makes you wonder and question the government could be doing - but it also wraps you up in the story and solving this code. A must read for code-breakers and puzzle doers out there.
...

brigs03 says "Get Rewarded for what you do anyway!" about MyPoints

What a great service! Earn points by clicking the links on daily emails - click the link even if you aren't interested to earn points and then just close the browser window.

If you shop online most of the time the merchants you use will be on MyPoints. Stop by their website first and "click thru" to the merchant.

Points can take up to 6 weeks to post but its worth waiting for - I mean if you didn't use my points you weren't getting anything anyway, right?

Rewards have always been sent to me quickly - usually less then 2 weeks! I use them to decorate my bathroom, watch movies, eat out. It's a great treat.

When I first signed up I thought it was too good to be true and didn't even tell my husband about it until my first reward came in the mail - now he is a believer too.
...

brigs03 says "Smooth Sailing" about Carnival Cruise Lines - Fantasy

My husband and I took our first cruise for our honeymoon. Neither of us knew what to expect and were very impressed with Carnival. From turndown service, to personal waiters each night at dinner the staff were wonderful and helpful. We had a blast at their private island - horseback riding and snorkeling, and the staff came onshore to do a BBQ.

Tips: Sign up early for events like snorkerling, parasailing, etc they will fill up!

Buy the unilimited soft drinks at the beginning. Otherwise only water and some juices are free.

Try new food - I hadn't eaten at fancy 5 course restuarants before and often wasn't sure what the food options were. Our wait staff were wonderful at explaining and recommending - and you can sample anything you want (if you ask). From duck ala 'range to filet mingnon and lobster there was always something wonderful on the menu.

Get an ocean view room. We loved being able to look out on the ocean or our port from the room. Its definately worth the upgrade!

Some downsides -...
...
