brianica says "great toy for baby" about Evenflo Exersaucer

This exersaucer has been great. I bought it used at a yard sale from a lady who had also bought it used so it has went through at the very least four kids and it looks like new. I love it because all the toys around it can be replaced, moved around. The lady who I bought it from said that you can actually go to the evenflo website and order new toys for it. I haven't checked it out yet but I am sure that I will and this is a great option. My daughter loves the music that it makes. She is learning that when she goes in the exersaucer I won't be giving her a lot of attention (I use it when I am making supper) and she is fussy when I first put her down but if I play the music for her she settles right away. She can bend all the toys and get them in her mouth which is important for a baby! I wish that it was a little bit more bouncy though. She loves to bounce and this doesn't really bounce, I feel that if it did then it would settle her a lot more. It also folds flat which is...
...

brianica says "Sophie is my new best friend" about Vulli Sophie the Giraffe

I did not have a Sophie toy for my first daughter although it was around back then it has been around for a very long time and was given it as a gift for my second daughter. I love this toy. It is made with all natural rubber and in a world where everything is so unsure and who knows what sort of recall is going to happen next it gives me a little bit of comfort knowing they have been around for a long time and that they have a commitment to using natural products. The legs and head is just the right size for my little girls fingers and she loves to grab it and it feels great on her gums. We carry sophie with us everywhere, it's amazing how just seeing this toy calms her down when she is fussy. The squeaker inside Sophie is fantastic too. I always take it when I am getting pictures done and it always produces the biggest smiles. It cleans easily, just wipe it with a wet cloth and it is just like new.
...

brianica says "every parent needs one of these" about Bumbo Baby Seat

The bumbo seat has been a life saver for my family but please note that this is only my experience as I have heard other parents say that their children did not like this seat. I am the mother of two very busy girls and love love love this chair. My first daughter started using it at three months and my second at two (it depends on their neck control) and it was so nice they both enjoyed being able to sit up and look around at the world. It gave them a new sense of freedom. My highchair also does not recline so both my girls ate their first solids in this seat and it is great. I love to put it on the counter and be able to look my baby in the eyes but DO NOT leave your child UNATTENDED because I have heard of babies arching their back and getting out of it and falling, my girls never did it they were both very content just sitting and watching what was going on. The seat is also very portable. It is what I always take when we are going out for dinner or over to someones house, it is very...
...

brianica says "a different alternative to the traditional booster" about Kaboost Lightweight Portable Chair Booster Seat

The Kaboost booster seat is a neat little contraption. I love it because it is different. I was the first one in our area to discover this, in fact it wasn't even availiable in stores, I stumbled upon it online which was a big seller for me. I enjoy having things that not everybody has so that was great for us. It is as useful as a traditional booster seat. We started using it when my daughter was 16 months old and it was perhaps a little young and used it until she was three. It elevates a child so they can enjoy dinner with the familly. My daughter liked it because it made her feel like a big girl sitting in the same chair as everyone else. The biggest problem was there is no sort of seat belt with this type of seat so it was very hard to contain a busy toddler at meal time. The colours are pretty wild but they do offer a dark brown one which we got and it fit nicely into our decor. It was easy to clean and take care of. We got a lot of compliments on it and now other people...
...

brianica says "highchair looks great but not practical" about Eddie Bauer Natural Wood High Chair

We purchased this high chair for use with our first daughter and now are using it with our second daughter and love the look of it. It fits in perfectly with our decor. In fact the wood matches the wood on our dining room set perfectly and we have had many compliments on the seat but that's where the benefits stop. It is heavy and clunky so it it not easy to move which was fine when it was just my one daughter but sometimes when daddy is not home for supper we like to eat up at the breakfast bar and the high chair does not come a long easily. The cloth cover is also impractical. I must hand it to them that it does wipe off pretty easily as long as the food has not been mashed in but if you accidently missed some food forget about it, you have to throw the whole cover in the wash to get it clean. When my first daughter was old enough to not fall over anymore we never used the cover anymore. In fact when my daughter was 15 months old we packed away the high chair completely because...
...
