borolass says "If you love to cook, you will love the Frigidaire Convection Ove" about Frigidaire PLGFZ397GC - Gas Range w/ Self Clean Oven

This Frigidaire Gas Range with a Self Cleaning Oven, five burners and a warmer drawer is probably my best Craigslist find EVER! Retails for $1,600, got it from Craigslist, six months old for...drumroll please....$700. I think it works just as great as an oven that costs twice the price.

I love to cook, I mean I really love to cook, we have a big family and I cook for my husband's fire station too at least every couple of weeks. This oven is like a dream to work with, it cooks everything perfectly, you can increase the temp by one degree, ONE DEGREE, how fabulous is that! The oven is self-cleaning, I wish my house was self-cleaning!

I'd never used a convection oven before and was a bit suspect, but now I love it, I can roast a chicken to perfection in under an hour!

I was a bit worried about the Stainless Steel showing marks but this is a new easy care kind, no need to purchase a special stainless steel clearner, 409 or Windex does the job.

There's a fab feature on the top, a...
...

borolass says "LG Stainless Steel Microwave....style, value, performance!" about LG Model No LMV1680ST

This review is for the LG Electronics 1.6 cubic feet over-the-range Stainless Steel Microwave (dang, that's a mouthfull). We're busy renovating the kitchen in our new-to-us house, and doing it all on a budget. I popped into Home Depot to pick up paint, while it was being mixed I wandered around and saw this microwave on sale for $200!!

The design is fabulous, it's sleek and elegant, my husband is very handy but he said even if you aren't it's pretty easy to install, you would need another person however, as it is fairly heavy. It has a hidden venting system which I love because I had to clean my old microwave vent with a toothbrush, and it never looked super clean.

It has 10 power levels, and works perfectly, it has a turntable, there are buttons on the front which are labelled things like 'popcorn', 'hot dog' and 'baby food', which is GREAT for the kids, it has a sensor so you can't scorch food. It has a 'melt and soften' feature which is great for baking.

I LOVE IT! ...
...

borolass says "Whirlpool Duet Washer/Dryer is Laundry Heaven" about Whirlpool Duet - Washer Dryer

My (new) husband actually ordered this Whirlpool Washer/Dryer HE Duet Set behind my back one year ago, I didn't see the need to have a set that was so expensive as I'd always had fairly cheap ones (Craigslist!!) and they worked just fine.

I was wrong.

I love to do laundry now, and so do the kids, the clothes are so CLEAN, I'm a massage therapist and I have to wash oily sheets all week long, it gets all the stains out perfectly without using a ton of water and somehow the sheets never tangle up in the dryer into one long rein like they used to. The many options on the machine are helpful, the set is super quiet. I've had to call out the repairman once for a torn seal, they came within 48 hrs, repaired it straight away and cleaned the floor of the laundry room!

My mother-in-law has had her set for 15 years, and it still works great, I hope mine do the same.

...

borolass says "It's good...and good for you"" about Quaker Weight Control Oatmeal

I've been eating oatmeal (or porridge, as I call it) my whole life for breakfast. I'd much rather start of the day with a hot meal than a cold one, and so do my children.

Quaker Weight Control Oatmeal is delicious, all five of my family love it, there's no discernible taste from the original, except that it's low in sugar and high in fiber. If I have a bowl in the morning, I don't feel the urge to snack mid-morning.

It lends itself well to being mixed with fruit, such as chopped up bannanas, or blueberries, more importantly, my three sons love it too. I do make it with lowfat milk rather than water, as I like the richer taste, and they put a drizzle of honey on theirs.

Delicous!!

Also, there's usually a coupon for .50 to 75 cents off in the Sunday newspaper, or you can buy it in bulk at Costco.

...

borolass says "I've been using it for years, and I love it!" about St. Ives Apricot Facial Scrub

I've tried many different facial scrubs, from the inexpensive to the 'oh my god, i won't be eating lunch for a week if i buy this' product. I love St. Ives, it works just as well, if not better than the expensive ones. My skin glows!...
