I borrowed my mother's Kenmore canister vac that has the sensor lights on it which made up my mind. I bought my Kenmore Progressive with Direct Drive shortly after! This vac is heavier that the last but it does have a long hose and attachment for the stairs. I absolutely love the lights that tell you if your carpet is clean or not. My floors have never been so clean...that's embarrassing to say!</p>&#13; <p>I have an area rug that everything sticks to. Before, I used to vac it then use a lint remover to get it "clean". Now all I do is vac until the light turns green. My cleaning is so much simpler now.</p>&#13; <p>When I set out to nuy my new vac, I was ready to splurge. I went to Sears and found that this Kenmore is quite affordable, not only that but it was on sale!!! I think that this has been my smartest investment especially with today's economy.</p>...
