I never would have thought of owning a Siberian Husky before we got ours (a gift from a friend whose brother could no longer care for her). I am so happy that we have her now and am considering getting her a friend!

The Siberian Husky is a very active dog, which is great for us. Remember, they were bred as workers, so active, active, active. So this is not a good dog for someone who is not home much or cannot find a lot of time to spen with their animal. This dog NEEDS your attention and time, even more than most. Also, just an FYI....watch out if you have other animals, like rabbits, as pets. My Siberian likes to catch rabbits in our yard and will eat them if not caught in time. Also, they are runners. Keep them on a leash when outside unless you have a fenced yard....or you may never see them again. They also shed excessively in warm weather and like to dig.

Renew Lotion is amazing stuff.

I live in Northern Indiana, so in the winter, the weather can be pretty cold and dry and I typically suffer from dry, itchy skin at that time of the year. In fact, it's not unusual for me to scratch my legs until they're raw at night from being so dry. Since I've started using Renew, that has not been a problem. No scratching, no dryness and not even alligator elbows! A friend of mine tried it too, and after 2 weeks of consistent use, her eczema is gone. I'll never use another lotion again!

Renew is sold by a company called Melaleuca. All their products are naturally derived and very safe to use. The company is also very focused on the environment, which is a good thing! According to company research, it says that Renew has been proven in lab tests to be 7X more effective at moisture retention than Eucerin.

SEARCH AND GIVE

If you sign up with goodsearch.com, and tell them what charity you like, they give the charity a penny for every search you complete. Not a lot of money I know, but you're searching the internet anyway, so why not! And, it doesn't come out of your pocket, nobody knows it's you, etc. It's just a nice thing to do!

My only real complaint is that it's pretty slow.

WORKS LIKE PROACTIV, BUT CHEAPER!

AcneFree is an EXCELLENT product. It's only about $30 for the 3 step system at your local drug store. I've found it for as little as $15 including shipping for the system online.

Yet, despite its great price, it offers the same great acne fighting ingredients and protection as the popular Proactiv line. I used to use Proactiv, and loved what it did for my skin, but couldn't afford to keep it up. When I found AcneFree, I thought I was in heaven b/c it was just like using Proactiv, but I could finally afford it!

Easy to use. Comes with a cleanser, toner and repairing lotion.

I definitely suggest this if you have oily skin and acne. Good stuff.

THE SUV WORK HORSE

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 2004 is the 3rd Jeep Grand Cherokee I have owned. To say the least, I'm a fan of the vehicle. This particular year is a little more cushy and comfy than in years past. It has automatic seat controls to get the perfect driving fit for you and a nice smooth ride for long drives.

As a driver who needs her vehicle every day for work, this is a SUV that consistently comes through. It is reliable, reliable, reliable. One downside I've found to this type of Jeep in general is that they go through brakes more quickly than other vehciles I've had. The big downside to daily city driving is that it does not get good city mileage. If you travel the highways, you'll do okay with gas mileage though!

I also haul a lot of boxes for my job, so need a healthy amount of space. Although the seats do not fold down flat, they fold down about 3/4 of the way, for plenty of space in the back. I just fit 6 6foot submarine sandwiches in there for a work event and still...
