bookstar says "It's one stop shopping from your couch" about Amazon.com

I love amazon. It's easy, it's convienent and it's almost always cheaper than stores. I look around a ton and don't like paying for shipping, but I often find what I'm looking for with free shipping and orders are shipped in a timely fashion. I love seeing the reviews, which are honest and helpful and the few times I've had to deal with customer service, it's been a positive experience. It's a great way to get shopping done at work, and to avoid the malls....

bookstar says "Nothing amazing, but cute enough" about License To Wed

If you don't expect much from this movie, you can't be disappointed and you might enjoy it. It's cute and stupid and exactly like all the other romantic comedies out there, but I liked it. Not my favorite, but I'm a huge fan of Mandy Moore and although not her best performance and the comedy was pushing it a bit, I still found myself smiling at the end. I would recommend multi-tasking while watching this one, it'll be more enjoyable....

bookstar says "All you need to be in great shape" about Shape Magazine

I love magazines, especially ones that make my life better -- healthier, smarter and more fun! Shape has articles on it all. The fitness tips are doable, even for a busy woman and you don't always need to go to the gym. My favorite part of the magazine is the recipes. All healthy and delicious. I've been a subscriber for years and will continue -- I look forward to opening my mailbox to find a new issue each month....

bookstar says "Wakes you up without the calories" about Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Body Lotion Energy - Mandarin Lime

I have a bottle of this on my desk at work and love it. Not only does it heal dry hands, especially in the winter, but the smell, which is great, actually wakes me up during that afternoon lull. Instead of grabbing a candy bar or coffee I put on some lotion and the smell wakes me up, while taking care of my skin. Love it!...

bookstar says "For a MLS, it's one of the only options in the area" about Simmons College

I attended Simmons College to earn my masters in library and information science. It's a solid program, but the tutition is so expensive. There aren't many programs in the area, unless you want to complete the masters online and I feel that hurts the school. They don't have any competition. I felt I didn't learn as much as I should have and they are much more flexible for students working full time, not attending classes full time. The offerings are hard if you want to be done in a year, although it's possible....
