bnlmel says "The Spot Bot has saved my carpet!" about Bissell SpotBot Robotic Wet/Dry Vacuum

We LOVE our Spot Bot!!! It is so easy to use and the stains just disappear. With two dogs we have the occasional puke and pee stain that in the past have just gotten pressed down into the pad. The Spot Bot sucks it all up and leaves the room smelling great. I would never have the patience to sit and spray and suck with a tradition carpet cleaner so the stains never came all the way out. The spot bot does it all for you while you walk away and do something else.

You do have to be careful to make sure to suck up any extra solution left in the carpet, sometimes it feels a little damp when the cycle is over, but it is still so much easier than doing it all myself. We haven't had any rings but I could see how it could happen as well. We love it and recommend it to anyone, especially pet owners.
...

bnlmel says "It looks cool but..." about Dyson - Dyson Animal - DC17 All Floor Vacuum

Love this vacuum but the attachments are weird. The wand is really ackward when trying to get dog hair off a couch, etc. that was the point of this particular model for me. I think Dysons are great and we love ours but is it better than any other vacuum? The verdict is still out for me. I have a feeling they just have better marketing....

bnlmel says "Lovely Honeymoon on a budget" about Kaanapali Beach Hotel

We actually moved to Kaanapali Beach Hotel after being quite disappointed with the hotel our travel agent booked. The staff was so welcoming and really seemed excited for us even though we were probably the 100th honeymooners to check in that day! The location was great, the tiki bar and breakfast buffet were both yummy. We loved falling asleep with the doors open listening to the Hawaiian music played nightly in the courtyard by uncle Rudy. This is not the Ritz by any means but it looks and feels like one would expect of a Hawaiian hotel. It might be a little dated and we did see some renovations going on while we were there, but the immpecable customer service, the prime location, the Hawaiian feel plus the great price make it a steal. We have saved our nut leis in hopes that we will return very soon to get our first white nut added to them. We will definately be back!!...
