blustrbry says "Average food and poor service abound here." about Logan's Roadhouse - Orlando, FL

I have been to several different Roadhouse Grills on many occassions and the food tends to be average. The steaks are tasty and reasonably priced but the salad and side items are lacking any real flavor other than salt and oil.

A little over a month ago I stopped in for a quick dinner. We were seated promptly and our server greeted us quickly. Everything was going well until the food started coming out. The salad I ordered came with cheese despite my request for no cheese. I picked the cheese out as our server was very busy and did not make it back to our table for some time.

The staff at this restaurant do not work as a team. The person who brought our entrees did not linger long enough to ask if we needed anything else and ignored the small stack of plates we had pushed to the edge of the table for easy reach.

One of our party ordered broccoli with no butter but found hers to be covered in very salty melted butter or oil. I attempted to eat it but it was saltier than movie...
...

blustrbry says "The Circulon Elite Twin Pack lives up to its great name!" about Circulon Elite Twin Pack Skillets

These skillets are amazing and only cost $39.99 plus tax. I love to cook but hate to clean up afterward. The special food release system works wonders. The pan comes clean with a washcloth and no elbow grease.

The pans heat up quickly and cook everything from eggs to fish perfectly with even heat distribution. I especially love the ability to sear something stove-top and finish it in the oven. This comes in handy for fish.

The handles are well secured and the pans are balanced perfectly.

There are only two drawbacks. One, you have to shy away from the higher stove-top burner settings and temperatures over 400F in the oven to preserve the non-stick coating. Two, there is nothing in or on the handles to indicate that the metal parts of them are extrememly hot after you have cooked with the pans in the oven. I know it is common sense not to touch pans fresh from the oven but all you always work with a skillet by the handle. It is second nature to grab the handle...
...
