blunothing says "Single best item to have on hand during flights and roadtrips." about Nintendo - Game Boy Advance SP Console

I had a first generation Gameboy back in the day and played Kirby on it while my parents forced me into the car for long roadtrips to the grandparent's house. This is so much better. I pack it whenever I have to fly anywhere and prefer using it over my iPod. The screen and colors and so vibrant and clear and it is easy to use. Most of the graphics are rather basic but it is a portable gaming device and I like the graphics better than those of the PSP.

I've also found the games that go with it to be fairly priced, also you can find many used games for under $10 at Gamestop or Ebay. The only downside is lack of a standard size headphones jack so when I play on airplanes I have to turn the sound off. I also wish there were brain games like Nintendo DS has to go with it....

blunothing says "Revolutionized the music industry and replaced the CD." about Apple - iPod Photo (60 GB) MP3 Player

The iPod has become a standard for all MP3 players. I had the Diamond Rio back in the day (hey it only held 12 songs!) and didn't upgrade until the iPod came along. I reclucantly bought it even though I'm not a fan of Apple. I've never gotten remotely close to filling the memory but have found that the battery dies after a few hours. I wanted to get it for use on long flights but because of the short battery life I have stopped taking it with me.

I'm also disappointed to find out Apple has now stopped including the wall charger with iPods, opting instead to sell it separately for $30 knowing full well that everyone needs this key piece and will probably buy it. To me its like selling a computer without the monitor. Geez Apple, this is why I don't buy other products from you. If you want a large memory mp3 player but can overlook the lack of battery power then you'd be more than happy with this product.
...
