bloodunderrazor says "I am Shinku the fifth Rozen Maiden doll. You shall serve me." about Rozen Maiden Vol. 1: Doll House

I love Rozen Maiden. I'm a huge fan of the manga which is fairly different from the show. But the show is most certainly worth seeing. It's humerous and emotional. And it's all about growing out of your problems and becoming the stronger person. All this is hidden among the Alice Game.

The Alice Game was created by Rozen the maker of the Rozen Maiden dolls. There are seven dolls in all. They all must compete in the Alice Game because whichever of the dolls steals all the others Roze Mystica {which is a ring all the dolls have to show their contract between them and their human owner} get's to meet "father" their creator. And that doll also becomes Alice. The most perfect doll.

Rozen Maiden revolves around the fifth doll Shinku and her human medium Jun who is reclusive and usually nasty. Other dolls join with them because Shinku doesn't want to steal her sisters Rosa Mysticas. She just wants to live with them in peace. It's not to be as sooner than later the fight is on.

It's got a great...
...

bloodunderrazor says "It's the diet coke of Tim Burton" about The Corpse Bride

I'm a huge Tim Burton fan. And the Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my top favorite movies of all time. So I was excited to hear about Corpse Bride and it didn't much matter to me that Johny Depp was a voice actor for it. I'm was waiting for the music and mayham that caught my heart and attention in Nightmare Before Christmas. I was sorely disappointed.

Corpse Bride is a nice watch. The story line was alright. Slightly sad and felt a little forced to me. The animation was wonderful. It's worth seeing and having to set beside Tim Burton's other works. But it's not a watch once a month because it's awesome type of movie. My real disappointment was that none of the songs had that catchy flare or emotion that the Nightmare Before Christmas's song had.

I know people say you shouldn't compare the two because Corpse Bride is it's own movie. But let's be honest. Nightmare Before Christmas was a benchmark in TIm Burton's career. It was glorious. And the Corpse Bride fell short in comparison....
...

bloodunderrazor says "Anita Blake before she fell off the wagon" about Laurell K. Hamilton - Bloody Bones

This is book four in the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series. And it's still early enough in the series that she's not just sleeping with every single person.

It's got the action of the first three books and just enough heat from the romance to stir up the emotions without staging a hostile takeover on the storyline.

Anita Blake, Jean Claude, fae and a crazy buisness man. It's a crazy story that's worth anyone who's a true fan of the series time. If you're new to the series, I suggest the first three books to get the feel for it.
...

bloodunderrazor says "The tool called Shinobi." about Naruto

This is my favorite anime series. I've been a fan ever since Sailor Moon aired in the U.S.

Naruto is more my cup of tea shall we say. Awesome action. Wonderfully lovable and loathable characters. I'm not going to say much to spoil this for any people new to the series. But I'm a hardcore fan.

You'll either love it or hate it. If you like ninjas, crazy techniques the likes of which haven't been seen since Dragonball Z, and the craziest set of plots created for an anime this is what you need to see. If not, then go watch Strawberry Marshmellow or Hello Kitty and forget watching action with the big kids.
...

bloodunderrazor says "And all the crazy things have to end. {SPOILER REVIEW}" about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

This book was by far the most impressive and yet shocking story in J.K. Rowling's series. It's hasn't really been for young kids since book five and now it's mainly for the older reading group. I wasn't truly unhappy with it except for the whole Snape arc and the fact that one of the twins were killed. I for one think it should have been Percy who bit the dust.

I did like the end and the fact that Harry survived. It's was almost certain before the book came out that Harry was going to die with Voldemort. It thrilled me to see that wasn't the case.

But this book has it's very serious downs. Overall it's worth at least one read. Just to get some closure for the series. But I think that the epilogue could have been more detailed. That was the biggest disappointment to me. Also, it's the fact that J.K Rowling just seemed to want to get it over with. It was a rush job and you can tell she wasn't putting the usual amount of focus into her characters. So no, this isn't stopping Twilight from...
...

bloodunderrazor says "It's a nice drink and all but i'ts not dropping my food intake." about Wulong Tea for Weight Loss

This tea is tasty if just a little more acidic than I prefer. But though it was a filling type of drink, I find that it didn't really make me stop eating. And let's just face it, to truly lose weight you've got to watch your chaloric intake. This tea is nice. It's distracting. But it's not a miracle weight loss substance. Will power is also needed....
