blester says "HD Video at Affordable Prices for capturing those memories" about Kodak - Zi6

I purchased the Kodak Zi6 last fall when it made it appearance at the local Best Buy. Having had a bad experience with JVC I decided I would try this one before jumping in to buy a higher priced High Def Camcorder. To my surprise I have been quite impressed with the ease of use since there are only a few buttons to use to change settings. You can film HD Quality for a very low price compared to other HD Camcorders with a varieity of settings from still pics, Standard VGA at 30 frames per second, HD at 30 or 60 frames per second. I recommend buying an SD/SDHC card to allow for longer recording times. You can expand up to a 32 GB card to store longer movies or more short movies which ever suits your needs. You receive one set of rechargeable batteries along with a battery charger in the box. I suggest buying extra batteries so you are prepared to take those unexpected videos. After taking your video you can upload directly to Youtube through a flip out USB connection or you can download the...
...

blester says "Beware buying HP Notebooks " about Hewlett Packard Notebook Computer

I researched the HP website and thought I had found the perfect laptop for my needs until after I received it and found out they had played the bait and switch game. On the website they had the DV2910US as a 64 bit Windows Vista Home Premium after reveiwing the System Information in the System Tools on the Notebook I found out I had a DV2700 with a 32 bit Vista Home Premium. I was told my email was sent to the proper department to help clear up the matter to which I never heard a thing. On the bottom of the computer it states Warranty: 1 Year which is also a false statement my CD/DVD Rom with Lightscribe stopped working so I wrote in for assistance telling them it was making a noise and not working. I was told my 8 to 9 month old computer is no longer under warranty. Up until now I considered HP to be a great company, but after all of and being talked to like I was ignorant and them not standing behind their product with the warranty I have lost all respect for them as a company. I have...
...

blester says "Easy Set and Go" about Magellan - Maestro 4250 GPS Device

I purchased one of these units for my daughter as a Christmas present to elimate her every five minute phone calls when she was traveling in near by larger cities. Now she has the ease of using the points of interest to choose her route to get to where she wants to go with video and voice directions along the way without having to call for directions after missing her turn. Now if she misses a turn the GPS will recalulate her way for her.

I took the unit out of the box on the way home and after plugging it in to the lighter adapter and a few touches of the view screen it was ready to take me where I wanted to go. I typed in the home address using main freeway and highways for my trip home. Already knowing the best route for what I typed in I waited to see if it would tell me each turn I needed to take. It gave me alerts when the Interstates merged along with the lane I needed to be in. Two miles before each turn I would get the first alert then a few additional alerts as I approached the...
...

blester says "Easy and Fun to use. " about Kodak - EasyShare Z1275 Digital Camera

I purchased the Kodak EasyShare Z1275 Digital Camera when I was upgrading my digital camera because all my shots on the old 2Mega-pix camera I was using were blurry. At the time it was one of the only 12mega-pix cameras on the market in a compact size. It has image stabilization at a reasonable price. It has settings for about anything you can image or you can let the camera choose the best setting for you. You can also take Hi-Def video clips with it to upload to your favorite video site or send in an email.

The image stabilization works out great if your need to take a quick shot or your hands are not steady enough to hold the camera still. I had a guy watching me take pictures of my daughter's car after it was hit if I needed help because my hands shake. I told him it the camera took care of the problem for me. He was impressed when he viewed the results on the LCD screen and wrote the model number down to get one for himself.
...

blester says "Please be careful with Chantix." about CHANTIX

My doctor put me on Chantix twice a day, but when I would take it I would get nauseated for several hours. After trying it a few times for a week at a time I went back to my doctor. She asked how I was doing with it and I told her I could not take the Chantix even when it was just once a day. She said the nausea would go away to try again and keep taken it.

One evening I was sitting at the computer about ready to shut it down for the evening and heard the floor door bell. My daughter had come through the back door about the same time and opened the front door. It was the local police who slapped handcuffs on me and tool me to the hospital. It seems I was acting strange and did not know I was so the family had a warrant drawn from the magistrate for me to be observed for eight hours to see if I was on drugs and needed to be committed. I had stopped taking the Chantix four days prior to this happening so the effects had worn off so after al the blood work and questioning all night they released...
...

blester says "Affordable Real Picture Printing" about Canon SELPHY CP740 InkJet Printer

I had a Kodak Photo Printing Dock until a divorce and the ex took it with her. When I went to the store to get another for myself to print out real 4" x 6" pictures there was one Kodak on the shelf but the box looked damaged. I asked the sales lady if there were any more Kodaks in stock to which she answered no. I noticed the Canon Selphy CP740 used regular photo paper and the same color sheet system as Kodak. The sales lady also told me the refills for the Selphy for a 180 count was the same price or cheaper than the Kodak G600 refills. The 180 count for the Selphy was $28.95 compared to the Kodak 40 count for $21.49.

The 4" x 6" paper is also a post card on the back so if you want to mail a picture to family members all you have to do is address it, write your note and put a post card stamp on it then drop it in the mailbox. With the software you have a choice to edit from the computer or edit on the printer screen if you are using an SD Card for stand alone. The pictures are waterproof...
...

My son's monitor was growing dim on his Windows XP edition and with him getting ready to start taking college courses I gave him my 19" LCD and ordered the Acer 22" to add to my desktop. Since I have Windows XP Pro with Media Center the 19" was not quite large enough to watch TV or DVDs for my eye sight. It's not that I can not see on a 19" but with the 22" I don't have to sit right in front of the desk. I had read reviews on another site which stated the monitor was not very good but was better than other monitors I was looking at.

FedEx dropped it off and with in five minutes I had it up and running. The color it much brighter than monitors I had looked at in office supply stores and there is no lag time causing ghost images during the play back of a movie ot watching cable TV. The settings are very easy to change for different types of use. I like my photo editing much better after having printed out pictures. The images are vivid, crisp and colorful on the screen and the printed picture...
...

blester says "LG Scoop just what the doctor ordered." about LG - Scoop Cell Phone

Like most people these days I need a cell phone that will do more than just make a call, but not something like a Blackberry. So last months I checked out the phones available for my carrier since I was changing plans I like the features on the LG Scoop. When I arrived at the service providers store. I looked at the Scoop then some of the other phones available after seeing the display model was Lavender in color. The sales rep came over to assist me and I asked what other colors were in stock. I was shocked to learn they were out of stock on the Lavender models and most of the other colors but choose a Turquoise model.

The small keyboard revealed when you slide the phone open is much easier to use when texting someone compared to the flip phone I had before. My son always sends text instead of calling as well as friends. The features on the phone are very user friendly with out having to read through the manual to learn how to use them like the older phones. There are some features I wil...
...

blester says "Poor Customer Service on Repairs" about JVC - GR-D372U Camcorder

Made the purchase to video my kids graduation. I had used the camcorder approximately 4 times to learn how things worked. Recorded son's graduation and only had one minute of video before the picture went black but still recorded the sound. Sent the unit to JVC repair to have it fixed. The first time I got it back nothing worked so called them to return it again. Got it back the second time telling me a sensor had been replaced, but half the features were still not working. Sent it back a third time and everything worked great until the battery ran down before finding out it would not recharge the battery, but worked find as long as it stays plugged into the wall or you purchase a battery charger from radio shack or wlmart for $20. Requested they replace the unit the third time it was sent back with no results. So it sets on the shelf as a paper weight....

blester says "Great Laptop for home or office" about Hewlett Packard DV2910US

I made a purchase of this notebook after my old Toshiba 15.4" model kept shutting down everytime I would move the transformer adapter or it would get hot and shut down for hours at a time. I had gone to the store to pick up an Acer 16" entertainment notebook I saw on sale in the local circular, but after comparing the two notebooks I opted for the smaller and lighter HP Pavilion DV2910US for about the same price with more features than the Acer. So far I am very pleased with this purchase and the only problem I have had is connecting to the other computers on my wireless network which seems to be a Vista problem and not an HP problem....

I recenty purchased a 26" Westinghouse Model similar to the 32" model I now have. After having problems with the volume turning its self up on the 26" model I returned it and chose to move up to the 32" model. While the 26" model was more detailed in setup and features this model is much better after setting it up out of the box. This model automatically tunes your standard and the unscrambled digital cable channels for you without having to go back to remove or add channels later. It has NSTC, ASTC and QAM tuners built-in where most of the other brands I looked at only had NSTC and ASTC built in for this price range....
