This product was a total waste of money. Not only did the spray not keep my cat away from the treated areas, the spray actually ATTRACTED my cat. My cat was curious to the new smell and was not repelled by it. Boundary brand spray was much more effective. I will review this product...

bitfish says "Why drink cheap tap water when you can drink expensive tap water" about Dasani - Bottled Water

I understand that water is a healthier drink than sugar-laced soda and juices, but at what cost? Sure, some tap water is not as fresh and crisp as it could be. However, I do question people who think the jacked up price of Dasani water equals quality. Just get a Brita filter and you'll pay about 1000% less per...

This is a good tasting spread if you are watching fat intake. Skippy reduced fat is not as oily as the original peanut butter. This may be to your liking. If not, stick with...

bitfish says "You can actually taste the potato in these chips" about Wise - Lightly salted potato chips

Wise lightly salted potato chips are the greatest chips alive. Most potato chips hide the inferior taste of their potatoes with tons of salt. Not Wise. Most bags of snack foods taste like salt with cheese poufs or tortillas added as a minor ingredient. These chips are delicious and won't leave you wondering what you are eating. The only drawback is if you want perfect looking chips. Lays makes all their chips look "perfect". Wise has a more natural look. The chips are a bit browner, but I eat chips for taste not looks. So if you want to snack on a chip that has tons of potato flavor, go with Wise lightly...

bitfish says "It's NOT butter, thank God." about Unilever I Can't Believe It's Not Butter - Original

I COULD believe this stuff wasn't butter. First of all, if I took butter out of the fridge there would be no way I could spread it on a slice of bread without making the bread look like it has been thru a meat grinder. Cold butter is just too hard to spread. ICBINB spreads extremely easy right out of the tub. — — Also, try keeping butter tasting the same over a weeks time. The flavor changes are quite interesting to say the least. ICBINB tastes pretty much the same from first to last spread. — — I would recommend this product for those who are looking for a great tasting spread, that can stay fresh in the fridge over an extended time. —...

Milky Way candy bars, made by M & M Mars, are quite possibly heaven on earth. The chocolate, caramel and nougat blend perfectly to make an outstanding candy experience. I am a big fan of caramel, and Milky Way candy bars have the best caramel I have ever tasted. If you are looking for a great tasting candy, Milky Way is the one to...

bitfish says "Aldi is hit or miss" about Aldi Food Stores

Aldi (or ALDI'S as people in Western New York call it) is a great place to save money, but you have to know what to buy. Some products are excellent substitutes for name brands, while others are way lacing in quality. I won't really go into specifics. You have to know what you want from a product and know what you are willing to accept as a substitute for your favorite name brand.. For example, I like Nutella chocolate hazelnut spread. In my opinion, the Aldi brand is exactly same as Nutella. The exact opposite can be said for their toasted O's cereal, which is a poor substitute for cheerios. Your own palate will tell you what's acceptable once you try their products. The good stuff is really good, and the bad stuff is really bad. — — Don't go into the store expecting variety. If you want taco shells, they have one brand and that's it. No size or flavor variations. Also some products are not available all the time. If you want garbanzo beans, keep your eyes on...

bitfish says "Frost King has no stick" about frost king window shrink film insulation

It seems like a good idea. Put a big sheet of saran wrap over your windows in the winter to prevent drafts from getting in and warm air from getting out. Too bad it doesn't work too well. The kit comes with sheets of clear plastic shrink film. First you apply double sided tape along the edge of the interior window sill. Then apply the clear film to the tape and use a hair dryer to shrink the film to fit the window and smooth out the wrinkles. Heres where the problems creep in. After shrinking the plastic, the tape usually only holds for about 12 to 24 hrs before coming loose. The tape WILL come off the window sill and/or the plastic will lose its grip of the tape. I have tried to use this product for the past 2 years. I have never had one of these applications not fail. — — I have tried several different techniques to get the tape to stick. I always clean the window sill to remove dirt. Then I allow the clean area to completely dry. Then I apply the tape,...

bitfish says "Makes awful water taste good" about brita pitcher

If your tap water tastes a bit off, the Brita pitcher will make it taste good. — — The only real drawback is the slow rate the pitcher filters the water. It goes at a rather slow pace. Comparable to a dripping faucet, rather than a faucet flowing when fully opened. If you need a lot of filtered water in a hurry, this is not the product for you. —...

bitfish says "Good basic laptop" about Dell Inspiron B120 Laptop

I needed a basic laptop for work. No frills necessary. Just something for web surfing and some word processing. I own a Dell desktop, and I looked at their website for deals. They were unloading their inventory of inspiron B120s, probably because the wireless internet cards are external and are plugged into the slot on the side of the laptop. Most newer wi-fi cards are internal and don't stick out of the side of the unit. I'm not that needy when it comes to a feature like this, and the discount offered made this laptop a great deal. — — There are some drawbacks to this laptop: — -As with most pre-loaded windows computers, there are a lot crap programs jammed onto the HD. — -The DVD drive and the pre-loaded software didn't get along too well. I could not get many burned DVDs to play with the factory installed drive and software. I eventually purchased a DVD burner and installed different DVD player software,...

bitfish says "Superb alternative to the i-Pod" about Samsung MP3 Player - YP-T9J

I was looking for a small, inexpensive mp3 player for my workouts at the gym. An i-pod seemed a bit too costly for what I would use it for, so I checked out mp3 players on eBay. After doing my research, the Samsung YP T9 J seemed to be the way to go. It's small, has multiple features and is much less expensive than an i-Pod. I purchased a refurbished 2GB model on eBay for less than $50. 4GB models are also available for a bit more. I didn't think I would need anymore than 2GB at the time of purchase. Boy was I wrong. The video playback is great. I now wish that I had bought one with larger memory to load more video. The only drawback is that you have to convert the videos over to a proprietery codec in order for the unit to play them back. Ability to play WMA files is also a plus. Some people don't like this format, but I find that WMA's compressed at 64kbps sound just as good as MP3s compressed at 96kbps. This allows for more music to be stuffed into the memory. I know...
