bigmamac says "waste of money" about Magic Bullet Blender - High Speed Mixing System

That late night TV ad got me. I have been wanting the magic bullet for almost a year now. I bought one the other day from a local store, it costs me 40 dollars on sale. I was thrilled when i got it until i got home and hooked it up. I tried several of the recipes that they give you. I was very disappointed when I discovered that the magic Bullet is no more then a mini blender. It was a real let down. There is a big catch 22 in the things it claims to do. Such as it claims to chop onion and garlic. Yes it does chop these items. However, let it up to quickly and you have mega chunk, hold it down to long and you have paste. You basically have to purchase all mini items and count to ten very quickly in order to get things to come out like they claim. Also, you have to be very careful when using the magic bullet because the motor burns up easily. You can smell it burning if you run it for 30 seconds or more. I am glad that I didn't pay full price or even worse buy the one they advertise......
