bigdawgdave says "know what youre buying" about Sony Playstation 3 (40 GB) Black Console

we just went to buy our ps3 and found that you best be careful what youre buying. tthe regular ps3 you find for between 300 and 350 dollars plays only ps3 games. if you want to play ps or ps2 games you have to spring for the 80 gig backward compatible system which runs in the 500 dollar range. then it also takes an additional adapter which is sold seperately for 15 to 20 bucks in order to use ps and ps2 memory cards. all told the ps3, 80 gig, adapter, and two games was nearly 700 dollars. each to his own, but personally i think it should have equiped to do the dishes, wash the clothes, and walk the dog at that price. on the bright side, it is amazing. the blue ray technology is awesome. never thought i'd hear myself use that word. it has the most lifelike graphics i've ever seen. the kids love it. but at 700 bucks I think it should love us back....

great action sequences. good plot line. great surrounding cast, but willis seemed as though he was alittle off or board with the part. my hats off to the special effects team and the writers. only willis could take out a helicoptor with a car and then deliver a tongue in cheek, "i was out of bullets". no academy awards but well worth watching....
