betyb4u says "Great First Camera" about VTech Kidizoom Digital Camera

I bought this camera for my 4 year old son for the holidays.

I got it on sale at Kohl's for about $57, it was originally $70 (which I thought was too expensive for a child's camera)

My son loves it.

It has a double viewfinder which is great for children so they don't have to close one eye to take a photo. It's easy for children to use and they figured out most of the features before I did. Two 5 year olds and my 4 year old found out how to scroll throught the photos and add fun frames and silly hats that are loaded into the camera onto the photos.

You can add and SD card to expand the memory ( I did) but I don't think you need it. The internal memory is more than enough and when you use the SD card as default the photos are slow to load when viewing them.

It takes OK photos, don't expect great quality due to the shutter lag and my childs impatience many photos are blurry.

The camera easily connects to your PC with the included USB connection for downloading photos and there is a pinpoint...
...

betyb4u says "This SteamVac is so great I can't stop cleaning my rugs" about Hoover SteamVac - Upright Vacuum SpinScrub - F5914-900

The Hoover SpinScrub Steam Cleaner lives up to the hype.

I borrowed a couple of steam cleaners before buying this one. They just didn't live up to the job. The five spin brushes really do a great cleaning job. The optional spin brush upholstry tool works great.

My stairs were really filthy and matted down. After the first cleaning I saw a marked improvement. After the second cleaning the carpet looks less matted and the carpet is really clean. It does take some time and muscle to suck out the water, plus the over spray makes it necessary to redo the areas already clean to remove the excess water.

The steam cleaner unit isn't too heavy and doesn't over wet the carpet when cleaning. It really sucks up most of the solution it puts down and the carpet dries very quickly. It cleaned most of the stains that had been on my carpet for years. I did not pre treat so that may have been my problem on the stains it did not remove.

Overall this is a great cleaner that I would...
...

betyb4u says "You don't have to have pets to own a Roomba Sage" about iRobot Roomba Sage For Pets

The Roomba Sage is a great asset to any home. I have been using one for about 4 monthsand every time I empty the dirt bin am amazed at how much dirt, dust and hair is in there.

You will have to sweep the dirt away from the walls and corners periodically as it doesn't hug the walls tightly and can't reach all the way into the corner. Roomba gives you the freedom to do other things. Instead of pushing a heavy vaccuum around; just press a button, set the virtual walls and off it goes. Since it vaccuums over each area more than once it really picks up everything. Dust, hair, cheerios, crumbs, leaves, grass and much more. Maintenance is fairly easy. Every other cleaning, take out the brushes to remove the debris and wipe them with a damp cloth. Change the filter (which I wash in the sink and set out to dry), and wipe the dust off the inside of the dust bin and brush assembly area. I would recommend the Saget even if you don't have pets, it has a great tube that you...
...
