bethany873 says "would never purchase from mitsubishi again" about Mitsubishi Mirage - 2000

We bought a mistubishi mirage in 2001, it was a 2000 and had just come off a lease. It was still under factory warranty until the end of 2003. Without fail, every time something broke and we took it to the dealership to get fixed, we were told "that wasn't covered". The fan belt snapped when the car only had 17,000 miles on it. The bumper came loose in the back and had to be replaced. The exhaust pipe came free of the bracket that holds it on and was dragging on the ground, and had to be replaced. And the best/worst of them all, the hinge on the passenger front door seized the first winter and actually SNAPPED. We were told we should have been oiling it. It does not say this in the owner's manual, trust me, we checked. WHO EVER HEARD OF THE DOOR FALLING OFF A 3 YEAR OLD CAR?? They would not repair or replace it, they said the door was an exterior piece and therefore not covered under the bumper to bumper warranty. The door. Was not covered. Under the warranty. The...
...

bethany873 says "a miracle, as far as i'm concerned" about Feliway Feliway Electric Diffuser 48ml

We have two cats, one we rescued as a kitten from a dumpster 3 years ago and one we adopted from the humane society last year. Our newer cat from the humane society was terrorizing our original cat to the point that I was considering giving her back. No matter how gradually we tried to indroduce them, give rewards/praise for behaving near each other, or separated thier food and litter boxes, it got to the point that I locked them in separate parts of the house if I wasn't home, because I didn't trust the new cat to leave the old cat alone. As a result of all the stress our old cat became very skittish and nervous. I tried Feilway plug-ins as a last resort. It's supposed to mimic the "happy cat" phermones released by momma cats with thier kittens. Literally within a few days (maybe 3) of plugging in the Feliway diffuser, our old cat noticably calmed down and started socializing like she used to. The new cat stopped all the territorial behavior and no longer tried to chase the...
...

bethany873 says "worth it for the money" about Bose - Companion 2 speakers

I bought this for my husband so he would have better speakers for the computer. He does a lot of music recording and we only had the factory speakers that came with the computer (really poor quality). The Bose speakers are great in that they deliver the quality you would expect without being too expensive. Perfect for what we need but maybe not good enough for someone who's really serious....

bethany873 says "beautiful!" about Ashley Prairie View Dining Set

We recently purchased the Prairie View dining table with 6 chairs from Ashley Furniture. The hutch that comes with it was too big for our room so we got the server instead. It looks so great! The furniture is very well made and the delivery guys were early, very neat and curteous and set everything up for me where I wanted it. The price was much, much less expensive than other furniture stores in the area we had visited. We're going back for 2 more chairs and matching bar stools for the breakfast counter. I have recommended Ashley Furniture to my friends and family many times already and it will be the first place we go for new furniture from now on,...

bethany873 says "spend a little more money and get something else" about Polaroid - izone 300

I bought this camera the day before taking off for a 10 day trip to Spain. Sent in the product registration card the day we left. Worked fine throughout the vacation, the battery life was very long and it's very compact so it was comfortable and light to carry around. About a week after returning home the camera would not turn on. I'm glad I downloaded my pictures off it right away or they would have been lost! Polaroid told me I must have done something "excessive" to the camera and were generally unhelpful, even though the camera supposedly had a 1-year warranty and I felt they should have replaced or repaired it, considering how new it was. I won't buy another Polaroid izone....
