bellastella227 says "Ooooooo! We love singing Snuggle Puppy!" about Snuggle Puppy!

We received Snuggle Puppy by Sandra Boynton as a gift for our daughter. As a fan of her other books, we were excited to discover this one. As avid readers, we want to instill a love of reading in our children, so we made reading part of our night time ritual from the start.

This is a fun book to read with your toddler! It is subtitled as a "little love song." The words are rhythmic and it is easy to create your own tune to this song and change it up every time (although I finally discovered the CD with a tune on it!). As all Boynton books, this book is illustrated with bright colors and cute characters. Once my daughter was able to speak a little, she would often request this book or just to sing the song by calling it "ooooo!"

This is a great book to add to your toddler's collection. The board book is durable and still looks brand new after numerous readings. If you or your toddler love music, it is fun to be creative and create music together.
...

bellastella227 says "Baby Stella is soft and fun" about Manhattan Baby Baby Stella

I wanted my daughter to have this doll when I first saw her. Her name is Baby Stella and she is made by Manhattan Toy. I first loved her because I thought she was cute. Too many dolls are realistic and creepy, in my opinion. i also appreciated that she is soft, which makes her a great doll to play or cuddle with.

As I learned more about her, I was even more impressed. I love that Manhattan Toy has created this doll with accessories specifically for her. The doll comes with a headband, pajamas/onesie, removable diaper, and magnetic pacifier. Now that my daughter is older and has experience with some babies and dolls, I have noticed she loves to take pacifiers out of babies' mouths and put it back in. I knew she would love the magnetic pacifier on Baby Stella! She also loves taking of clothes and getting dressed. I knew she would have fun doing this with Baby Stella!

There are also separate accessories for purchase, like different outfits, a feeding set with magnetic bottle,...
...

bellastella227 says "Keeps baby busy in the kitchen while I get things done!" about Leapfrog Fridge Magnetic Dj

My daughter received the LeapFrog Fridge DJ as a gift on her 1st birthday. I was already impressed by the LeapFrog products so I was excited for her to discover and enjoy this new toy. We put it on our refrigerator right away and it stays on very well.

At one, she was able to crawl up and push the button. the button activates each song to play. There are three "stations" on this toy: letters, numbers, and music. She was too young to turn the dial at first. Each station plays 3-5 unique songs and displays graphics on the small LED screen above the button. These graphics correspond to the music so this toy has some educational value as well. I appreciate that there are two volume settings to this toy, as I usually have it on low but will turn it up if the blower is going above the stove or the microwave is running.

My daughter is almost two now and still loves this toy. She can now change the stations and take it off the fridge to carry it around by the handle if she wants...
...

bellastella227 says "The Pump In Style allowed me to feed baby best" about Medela Pump In Style Advanced Backpack

As a new mommy that planned to breastfeed but also had to go back to work full time, I knew I had to invest in a decent breast pump. I did a lot of research and it seemed that I had to choose between two highly reviewed pumps. I decided on the Medela Pump In Style due to the fact that it was more widely available, in case I needed to purchase additional parts or accessories.

I liked the fact that it came in an attractive black bag that I would not be embarrassed to carry around. I needed to pump about 3 times a day and would be carrying it all around the workplace. The bag easily fit everything it came with which was everything I needed: tubing and pump, bottles and caps, cooler to store, AC adapter, etc. I liked that it is made to double pump which makes the time used shorter, and hopefully results in more efficient pumping. I found the parts easy to clean and they also sell easy products to help with that (wipes and microwave sanitizing bags).

To be honest, I hated pumping. ...
...

bellastella227 says "I only trust my baby in a Britax---the Roundabout is perfect!" about Britax Roundabout Car Seat

I did a lot of research on baby gear while pregnant with my first child. One of my major concerns was a car seat. My child would be in the car daily going to and from daycare. It is a short drive, but there are still plenty of other people on the road. All car seats sold in the U.S. have passed U.S. safety standards, so I knew I didn't really have to worry about that. My concerns were mostly about installation and adjustment of the car seat. If a car seat is not properly installed, it may not work the way it should and it may become a dangerous piece of baby gear in the process.

After reading reviews, talking with other mommy friends, and trying the car seats out in the store, we decided on the Britax Roundabout for our convertible car seat. My daughter was too heavy to carry around in the infant seat and the Roundabout can be installed rear-facing for infants. We chose the Roundabout because it was the smallest of the Britax convertible car seats. At the time, I was driving...
...
