beanchar says "Better than liquid foundation, but still not perfect." about Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals Complexion Make-up

I like Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals in general but it can be quite messy to use and looks a little too cakey under and around the eyes. It's a little better in summer when my naturaly oily skin balances out the powder-like consistency of the makeup....

beanchar says "Fun, funny and REAL. A gem!" about Little Miss Sunshine

I really loved this movie because it told a somewhat familiar story in a new and original way. Great characters and dialog and a good balance between pathos and "feel good". Every single one of the actors is fantastic, especialy Toni Collette who dazzles in everything she does....

beanchar says "So much easier than hiding a pill in peanut butter!" about Heartgard Plus Chewables

I have one dog who is a rescue from a puppy mill and has never seemed to have any sense of taste (although he enjoys his food!) and so he was always great about taking any kind of pill, but my other one -- and every other dog I've ever had -- has always loathed taking their monthly heartworm dose. I'm so glad they finally figured out how to make the pills into a "treat."!...

beanchar says "It really worked for my 40-year-old, oily skin!" about Strivectin Eye Cream and Face Cream

I had heard about StriVectin but didn't try it until I found an offer at skinstore.com that gave a 60-day guarantee. I figured this was long enough to give it a real try and without any risk. I really did notice a difference in the brightness and softness of my skin. I have an oily complexion and have a hard time with moisturizers in general, but StriVectin has never made me break out. The only downside is in summer, it's just a little too heavy--- I wish they had a "light" version for humid weather!
...

beanchar says "Great product that breaks down frequently, alas." about Oral-B Sonic Complete Care Toothbrush

I am now on my THIRD Oral-B Sonic toothbrush, I was skeptical when I first heard about them, but my husband got one and within a month I could really tell the difference in the whiteness of his teeth. So, I got one and it worked vey well for about 8 weeks and then died. Fortunately, Oral B IS very goos about honoring their guarantee, so they sent a repacement and postage to send the defective one back. About two months later, the second one broke down and Oral B kindly replaced it too. So, as long as they stick to the policy of replacing them at no charge, I'll count myself a fan of this product....

beanchar says "These Legos "for girls" are a disgrace. " about LEGO Belville

It appears the people at Lego think that girls are incapable of enjoying actually BUILDING anything as most of the items are just molded dolls and the ones that require any assembly have two or three pieces at the most. I appreciate that they are trying to create themes that might interest the average girl more, like princesses and ponies, but why undercut the basic attraction of Legos by eliminating the building element?
...
