Even if you've rented a car for a week, don't get stuck at another airport due to weather or anything like that. Even with a call to the enterprise office, they will not guarantee that they will hold your car reservation. Yes, even if you've rented it for a week. You have to pick it up by the date contracted for even if you're on the other side of the globe.
...

For me, I tried it various times in various cycles and temperatures. I found that it really didn't quite disolve fully and it seemed to leave a resedue on some of the clothes. I found that I really didn't like it that much and it made me feel as though it didn't really get the clothes clean. Also, I have a new washing machine, so I know that it isn't the washing machine. ...

bburns says "Expensive and food is slightly above average" about Bellagio - Las Vegas, NV

Well, it's a very nice and beautiful setting and the wait staff is very attentative. But, it's ridiculously expensive and the food is rather on the skimpy side. Which, that in itself isn't so bad, but it's also not fantastic tasting, either. Expect to spend about $60 - $100 per person generally for lunch, generally....

bburns says "I like roasted chicken and dry rub ribs" about Armadillo Willy's BBQ - Sunnyvale, CA

I like this place fairly well. I mean, it is kind of cutely decorated, but it kinda lacks atmosphere. Yet, the food is pretty good, average I'd say. It's good for when you're hankering BBQ and you don't want to deal with the mess....

bburns says "If I were family, I'd find another family" about Olive Garden Italian Restaurant: All Locations - Plymouth, MA

I've given the Olive Garden several tries in various locations. Each time, it's the same. The wait staff is very friendly in the beginning, but once they've served your food, it's a cold day in hell before they check back on you to see if you need anything. The second thing is the salads are always wet, dripping with water, the bread is stale and well, I guess about the only thing I like about this place is the wine..... sort of. The pasta is okay, but I've at least given it about six tries and at all locations, the pasta has been practically luke or room temperature by the time it hits my table.

I don't know about you, but either I have incredibly bad luck, or this is just the way the restaurant is run. But, they do have reasonable pricing.

I'd like to give kudo's to an Itallian place in Santa Row, San Jose, and that's Maggiano's I think it's called. Great atmosphere, reasonable prices, but can get kinda loud.
...

bburns says "Great mentoring movie for young girls" about Ever After: A Cinderella Story

My daughter watched this with her friends at her birthday when it first came out. The girls felt some sort of empowered feeling when the left the theater. I think that it really shows that women don't have to wait for Prince Charming to save them, but that they are capable of doing it for themselves, and in fact, can save him. It was a very nice story and still gave respect to the men, so it was, what I would refer to as being a wonderful mentoring storyline for young girls everywhere....

bburns says "Cleverly hidden message." about Big Fish

I started out watching this movie in the theater thinking, "What the Hell?" But, as the movie went on, things started to sort of come together, in a sense. It wasn't until the very end that everything is crystal clear to you and it hits you like a rock! It's a very good movie and I think that if anyone, particularly if you are a man with father issues; this may make you realize how important it is to make ammends no matter what....

I saw this movie with my teenaged nephew, my teenaged daughter, my husband and a friend. What a movie! It kept my attention the whole time and I usually get very anxious about sitting still for this long. It kept us guessing and it was so exciting that I just couldn't leave my seat! It's definately a movie that you'll want to see....

I watched this with a friend and my daughter. Both of them are a fan of the author and they both loved it. I, not being of the "chick flick" genre lover liked it as well. It ended differently than most people would have wanted it to, but it was realistic in that sense. A very nice, tender and good movie....

This was a DVD that we rented without any expectation. We just needed to have something to watch for one of our family movie nights. There are about ten of us that get together. It was very funny and hits your funny bone all throughout the movie. Again, we had NO expectations, so it was a nice and funny surprise....

My niece and I swim and nearly all swimmers have a pair of these when they swim in the Winter time. These are wonderful, they keep your feet warm and dry and it's a welcome shoe to get into after you swim in the cold outdoor pool. Reasonably priced and they last forever!...
