http://www.viewpoints.com/aboutme/basschica Thu, 29 Nov 2007 05:12:42 GMT Reviews by basschica http://www.viewpoints.com/Goodyear-Assurance-TripleTred-Tires-review-50970 I've had my GoodYear tripletred tires for exactly 3 years now.  They are rated for 80,000 miles, but I would suggest that you don't plan on that really happening.  I live in an area with cooler weather (Michigan), which is supposed to be better in terms of tire life.  I've put about 57,000 miles on the tires, and had them rotated every 6,000 miles.  As of tomorrow I will be replacing them, which is much sooner than I had anticipated, but Goodyear will prorate you back the amt difference based on the miles you don't make it to 80,000 so I am not terribly upset.  In fact, let's face it marketing people coming up with the number of miles for warranties to compete with the other manufacturers, and the engineers really don't have a say.  That being said I am guessing there is probably little truth to the numbers we see in the estimates for any brand or type of tire. — — All that aside these tires work great.  They handle EXTREMELY well in the... I started with regular service + DVR and wanted to go to HD now that i have 2 HD capable TV's. I was concerned with upgrade costs and though I love the service was ready to consider another provider due to the high cost for upgrading as an existing customer. Their retentions department came up with a very fair offer that allowed me to upgrade to an HD dvr and a regular HD receiver. I placed that order last night and they will be here Saturday. I'm really happy with DirecTV. Their billing has been flawless, not a single incorrect charge. This is a far better choice over Comcast for the area I live...
