babyoggs says "Beautiful country, cabins and people. Lots to do and see." about Gatlinburg, TN

We spent the last week in July of 2007 in a wonderful cabin in the Great Smokey Mountains. It was an extended family vacation for a group of 14. We were able to stay in a luxurious cabin for just under $3000 for the week. There were eight master suites with master baths, an indoor pool on the bottom floor with a workout room, a large kitchen suitable for serving large families, balconies off each bedroom, flat screen tvs througout, a floor that was a movie theater, and a floor that had a pool table, air hockey, darts, and an arcade style game. The washer and dryer in the cabin also made packing and keeping clothes clean much easier. DId I also mention the hot tub on the balcony. The cabin was very new and provided by a company called Maranatha Cabins of Distinction. They were also very accomodating . This place was unreal. It would be great for family reunions, New Year's Celebrations with friends, or just a romantic getaway. Look up this company on the web. You......

babyoggs says "Finishing touch to a flawless face" about Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil

I love the entire Bare Escentual line. I have been using it for over one year and have noticed a tremendous improvement in my skin and how my makeup looks. One of my favorite products in the line in the Mineral Veil. This can be used several times throughout the day and never gets cakey or overdone. It is miraculous. My Bare Escentuals makeup looks great alone, but never seems finished without the Mineral Veil. It also comes in a tinted color as well which works well for people of color and those who have tanned. Try this line and this product. You will not be disappointed. The price is not that out of line and it lasts a long time....

babyoggs says "My daughter finally had a symptom free autumn" about Zyrtec Allergy Medicine

I finally took my daughter to a children's allergist after over four years of her suffering miserable seasonal allergies in the fall. Her unending cough began during the middle of October and went through the end of November. It was horrible, especially at night. I knew it wasn't just a cough, but couldn't get her pediatrician on board. I was referred to a top notch allergist who my son sees that has a peanut allergy. He immediately prescribed Zyrtec chewables. This Fall has been wonderful. She takes one chewable at night and that is it. No side effects. It is very expensive, $40 with our copay, but so worth not seeing her suffer. The upside is, this will be going over the counter very soon. Can't wait....

babyoggs says "More fun with cups than you would ever expect" about Speed Stacks Speed Stacks

I purchased Speed Stacks for my oldest son, who was five at the time, last Christmas. I bought them as sort of an afterthought to fill in a few gifts to make the number of presents even with my other two children. Little did I know this would become his favorite present of the season. He studied the DVD and used the mat and timer to practice the art of cup stacking. Yes, this is a sport. Not only did this hold his interest through out the year, but he became faster than any person we ran into, adults or children. People were fascinated by this simple concept of stacking cups as fast as you can in a predetermined pattern. Ironically, the physical education teacher at our school teaches a unit on Speed Stacks. She said she can usually pick out the good readers and struggling readers by how they perform on this. Those that use both hands stacking are better readers than those who don't. It is also great for dexterity in all types of sports. The entire kit runs around...
...

babyoggs says "Entertaining Christmas special for children and adults." about Shrek the Halls

Shrek the Halls has been eagerly anticipated by my children for the last three weeks. McDonald's shamelessly promoted the program through their Happy Meals and advertisements. We watched the program as a family tonight. We are big Shrek fans and get a kick out of the "potty" humor. But at the same time, there is always a message. The good guy wins, the bad guy loses. The program was full of commercials, which was a bit annoying. Clever insertions of up-to-date songs help to give the story momentum. The plot was simple. Shrek had never experienced Christmas. Now he was expected to provide this spectacular festivity for his new family. He was trying to make it what others told him it should be when it really should have been what is in his heart. So many of us get caught up in all of the commercialism in Christmas. It becomes the most stressful time of the year when it really should be the most peaceful. With any luck, this will become a new Christmas classic along......
