aubrav says "Safest, Friendliest, Most Affordable Airline Ever! For Families" about Southwest Airlines

After our horrible encounter with American Airlines last year, we decided to stick to only Southwest to avoid anything similar ever happening again. In March we took the family on Southwest for our vacation. There were 2 adults and 3 children. Not only did we get tickets for $239 each total, we got the best service for our kids we could ever hope for. Southwest offers a snack pack on their flights that includes 100 calorie chips a hoy crackers, a salami stick, and cheese and crackers. We each got one of those along with a handful of peanuts every hour we were on the plane. Then the flight attendants continuously came by to give our kids pretzels and more peanuts, and even a bag of chips. I know this is not the case, but it almost felt like our kids were getting special treatment because the staff was just so conscious of the fact that kids need to be entertained on airplanes. We had gotten so many snacks on the flights to our destination and the flights back, that we took......

aubrav says "Great for the Drama-watching young crowd" about Gossip Girl

I started watching Gossip Girl when flipping through the channels one night and settling on the new Drama on the CW. I have always liked most of the CW network's shows before, so I know that it was worth a try. After the first time, I kind of got hooked. I now try and catch it whenever I can, because it's one of those shows that you have to keep up with the storyline. I am also an avid Gilmore Girls fan, and this is a completely different type of show. Gilmore Girls was more of a witty drama with a lot of comic relief. This is a passionate drama that deals with adult-like problems in the lives of overly rich teenagers. The characters are beautiful and fun to watch and some of them are easy for anyone to relate to. I recommend at least giving this show a chance, especially for chick flick lovers....

aubrav says "American Airlines is not about the Customer!" about American Airlines

The first time we flew out to Vegas, we took Southwest and Continental Airlines. I am an extreme budget vacationer and research months in advance for the best price on our vacation. This last time we went we took American Airlines because they happened to have a better price at the time than any of the others. Our flight out was fine, we stayed for 5 days and arrived at the airport at 10:30 pm for our flight at 1:30 am. We went to check in on the computer and it would not let me check in, it only ordered me to see attendant. So I went up to the desk to find out how to check in, and the lady said, "You need to go stand in that line." She pointed to a long line of people who had not bought their tickets in advance and were waiting to purchase them. We stood in the line frustrated because we should have been able to go right through the check-in. The reason they have those computer check-in terminals is so that you can avoid standing in line. We finally get up there and...
...

aubrav says "Cute, compact, and Fun to Drive!" about Scion xA - 2006

i bought my 2006 Toyota Scion xA in October of 2005. I was first introduced to it when I was researching cars and my coworker pointed it out to me on the website. I saw it and fell in love. It was so cute and bubbly and exactly the style I was looking for. I immediately went to the car dealership and ran my chances of being able to purchase a new vehicle. I was only 20 at the time, and had only been at my job for 6 months but had just gotten my first raise at that job. I qualified with flying colors at a good interest rate.

After driving it for a while you start to realize the limited space in the car. The hatch space is very limited and the backseat is pretty tight also. I have four people in my family, two of them in carseats, and we can't really fit anyone else into the car with us unless they are pretty small. But I don't really need that much space for now, so it doesn't really hinder my everyday driving.

Physically, other than the space issue, I love everything...
...

aubrav says "It's worth what I paid for it." about LG - C1300i Cell Phone

I have no home phone so I rely on my cell phone for every call I have to make. I don't use the internet on the phone, I don't text very much, I basically use it to call out and to accept calls. Since that is the basis of phones I expect every phone to be able to send and receive calls very well. I chose an inexpensive phone because I am not a person who likes to spend hundreds of dollars on much of anything, let alone a phone. I liked that the phone had a little mirror on the front, which is perfect for a girl. I also liked how vibrant the colors were on the new screen. I enjoyed that it was small and light-weight also.

When first using it, I found the little annoying flaws in it. I didn't like that the phone did not have a front display, so I have to open the phone every time I want to see the time or see who is calling. It is not a camera phone, so you cannot take pictures. It also does not have a speakerphone which I find myself needing more and more in order to multi-task...
...
