anthro79 says "Hamilton Beach slow cooker cooks well" about Hamilton Beach 3 quart slow cooker

I recieved my Hamilton Beach 3 quart slow cooker as a wedding gift about two and a half years ago. In the box came the heating unit, a stoneware bowl, glass lid, lid lock strap, an insulating carrying case and an instructional book that has some recipies. It has four settings: off, keep warm, low and high.

I use mine about two to three time a month and it is very convenient. I set it on right before I leave and the food is cooked by the time I come home from work. It's great for small families, I think you can fit about a 3-4 lb chicken in it and it will cook on the low setting in about 8-10 hours depending on your recipe. I even make spegetti sauce in mine and freeze it into smaller portions. It is easy to clean, just put the lid and stoneware bowl into the dish washer to clean and then pack away.

All in all I am glad I got one as a gift, because I would not have bought one for myself as I never really used one. But, because I did get one as I gift I have used it and I...
...

anthro79 says "Cuisinart Food processor is greatest thing ever" about Cuisinart Food Processor - 11 Cup Pro Custom DLC-8S

I was given a Cuisinart Food processor two and a half years ago as a gift when I got married, and at the time I didn't think I would use it that much. Boy was I wrong!! I use it all the time and for a variety of things. First off let me tell you what it comes with. It has the motor base, a bowl, dough blade, mixing/chopping blade, shredder disk, slicing disc, pusher tube, spatula, manual and a VHS tape telling you how to use your food processor. Of all the items that it came with the only thing I have not used is the VHS tape (because I don't have a VCR).

The Cuisinart Food processor does what it says it will do, which is chop, slice, shred, puree vegetables, meat, cheeses, nuts etc, and the manual explains what about how to use each blade and disc. Also the manual explains about what temp. the food has to be in order to cut, slice or chop. It nice added bonus it is dough blade which you can use to make dough. Clean up is a breeze, just wipe the motor base with a damp cloth...
...

anthro79 says "George Forman Grill is great esp. for apt. dwellers." about George Foreman Grill - Indoor GRP4P

I bought a George Forman Grill last year in November. I love to grill things, but living in an apartment, I was not allowed to have a outdoor grill. So I started looking around for an electric grill. The George Forman Gill was one that I had heard good things about and also, my sister and my aunt each have one and they are happy with thiers. So I decided to get one for myself. I waited till they had gotten on sale and bought one.

I have had mine now for about 5 months and I use it about once a week. It is so convient and food taste really good. I had to learn by trial and error about the cook times. I have made burgers, kabobs, fish and even panini sandwhiches. You can also grill vegis and pineapples. And clean up is simple. Just put a wet cloth in the grill while it is still hot after cooking your food and about 15 to 20 minutes later just wipe it clean.

All in all I am really happy with my purchase and I would recommend one for my friends and family....
...

Debbie Maugans Nakos book- small batch baking is great. I have been using it for about 2 years now and all of my attempts have been pretty sucessful. It's perfect for when I have a chocolate chip cookie craving and don't want to bake a whole four dozen. Also great when my husband wants some chocolate cake or pound cake. It is the perfect size for him, so instead of baking a whole cake that would take him a week to finish he finishes it in 2 sittings. You really don't need special equitment unless you want to go all fancy and get the miniture bundt cake pans or something. I usally use what I have on hand, small pyrex bowl for the cakes or muffin tins etc. ...

My hands get so dry, from the weather, washing and basically anything I do. I was complaining to my friend about my hands when she gave me this to try. I did and what a difference. My finger tips that were dry and scaly and crack are now just slightly cracked (those cracks are going to take time to heal). The scent is of Soft and sensual which I do like. ...

Skin so soft body oil spray is great. I love applying after I shower on my legs (they get real dry when I shave) and on my arms. My skin stays soft and the smell is so pleasant. My partner is not fond of strong scents (his nose is very sensitive), but this even he likes. It also works great as a mosquito repellant, for when I travel over seas. My cousin in Pakistan liked it so much that she asked me to leave mine with her. Now I occassionally send her the big bottles of Skin SO soft oils, for which she is grateful....

I have 2 laptops one with Xp and one with Vista. The one with XP is older because I bought it 6 months before I bought the laptop with Vista. Vista requires more memory to run at capacity, i think it requires atleast 1gb, whereas Xp works just as well with a 512mb. There are just more bugs with vista then with Xp. ...

I got the swiffer as a gift from my sister who liked the one she has. The only place I really use it is on the bathroom floor. It cleans it pretty well. I like that the cloths are disposable so I don't have to deal with cleaning out a mop. For me they work pretty well. I usually get the knock off brand of wipes to use the swiffer it works for me....

I love mac's eye shadow, it wears really well no creasing or smudging. But it is a little pricey, so I am very picky with the colors I choose. It really does last a long time and the color stay vibrant till the end. I usually use it part of my daily routine when I leave the house and I just use a cottonswab to put it on. It goes on smoothly and looks really nice. ...

anthro79 says "Great for beginners, just a point and shoot digital camcorder" about Sharp - Digital Viewcam VL NZ50

I have a Sharp VL NZ50 Digital Viewcam. It uses mini DV tapes and came with a manual, fire-wire cable and A/V cables. I have had mine for about 2 - 21/2 years and I got it used at Wal-Mart. Till this day it works great.

Pros
Nice and small
10X optical zoom, 300x digital zoom.
Ability to transfer video to computer and transfer back from computer to Camcorder via fire-wire
Ability to record onto VHS or DVD's using AV cables
Easy to record movies basically a point and shoot function

Cons
Digital zoom can get a little fuzzy

I am an amateur videographer. I basically make home movies and edit them on my computer and then burn them onto my DVD recorder just for personal use.

One feature I like about the Viewcam is the Zoom, with the 10x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom I can make a movie of Shamu while I am on the top bleachers and still make out the faces of the trainers. But in digital zoom the view is not crystal clear. It looks like watching tv on broadcast channel, not in HD or anything.......
