antbb says "Childhood memories in a box" about Kellogg's Rice Krispies

Rice Krispies....AAAAHHHH it does get any more memory provoking than eating old Snap,Crackle and Pop!!! It was the one cereal we always had in the house. What a great invention!! Not only is the a pretty darn good cereal but you can take 2 other simple ingredients and make one of my all time favorite snacks Rice Krispie treats. Yumm...We had those on every special occasion. Rice Krispies hasn't changed in 40 years and I for one am so greatful. It's just a good old fashioned bargain, it tastes good and it's practical. It's not that filling alone but with some bannanas on top well breakfast is ready. I never use sugar on them either because I think they are sweet enough by themselves. I don't like the high fructose corn syrup but I'm willing to take my chance with Rice Krispies they haven't let me down yet....

antbb says "best water in the world" about Gatorade - Propel Fitness Water in Melon Flavor

This is my favorite water in the world. My kids love it and it gets them to drink something other than all of the milk in the house or from them wanting soda. I love it too and I'm not a big water lover. It's tasty and the bottles come in just the right size for us. I am concerned that we throw away an awful lot of bottles but we are recycling more these days. The price is a little steep but I'm willling to pay for this healthy alternative to our disgusting tap water....

antbb says "Ride em Cowboy" about Live Free or Die Hard

Another one of those movies I was drug to kicking and screaming. Well let me just tell you all right now I loved every darn unbelievable bang up, blow it up, knock down, drag out, second of this film. The action never stops and you never get to catch your breath. I am one of those women who likes action and man did this sucker deliver. I really like Bruce Willis and he is aging gracefully and is so believable as the character he portrays. Needless to say it's over the top and everything an action flick should be. See it, it's worth it....

antbb says "If this dosen't make you smile your face is broken" about Little Miss Sunshine

Well this is one of those films you just can't describe to friends and make them go "Wow gotta see that one." It's a quiet little movie and it grabs your heart from the beginning and never lets go of it. I smiled and I laughed every time little Abigail Bresilin was on the screen. This little lady has such a future. This movie was really loved by my macho husband and my 2 cynical teens. Who said "That was sweet." What wonderful, imperfect and quirky characters inhabit this flick. I loved the fact that I found myself laughing and crying sometimes in the same scene. Just a really divine film, watch it and just smile. Little Miss Sunshine indeed....

antbb says "Courageous film" about Brokeback Mountain

This film is so moving and heart wrenching. Ignore the fact that these are two men. The whole forbidden love concept and the pain and suffering that is caused will tear your heart to pieces. The movie is done with so much compassion for these two tormented souls, that you want to see them together even if it means tearing their families apart. I really wasn't sure about the love scenes and how I would feel about them.

But they were done with so much passion and raw emotion that you don't see two men just two people who love one another despite the world. I was deeply moved and I enjoyed this film. It provoked a lot of conversation in our house and we all came to the same conclusion. That no love between two adults should ever be "forbidden." Watch it, its worth every second you'll spend. Thanks Ang Lee, Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhall. Scenery is gorgeous too.
...

This movie starts out kind of slow and drags for the first maybe 20 minutes or so. When the action picks up it is non-stop. It has some very funny moments but is very bloody and gory at times. I love these 2 actors so I was willing to forgive some of the missteps in the film. Lots of good actors in the film and the story has a nice twist to it that is very funny and ironic. Anyway enjoyable as a whole, not as good as Sean of the Dead. Happy ending....

Loved this movie. It starts off slow so really hang with it and give it a chance. But once it gets started it is a sweet, lovely story and the little rat is precious. My husband and I have pet rats so of course we loved this little critter. Really good film for the entire family with a lot of laughs and some touching teary moments. It may be a little long for real young kids but who knows. The animation is lovely and the concept cute and refreshing. I give it a hearty 2 thumbs up....

Went to this movie with my teen age son because he really wanted to see it. Was not thrilled at the prospect but I love my boy so I went. Wow was I pleasantly suprised, I enjoyed it immensly. It was bloody, gory and violent don't be fooled but it was a good story and it was fun. Don't watch this movie thinking it's Shakespear it's not but it's a dandy action film. So watch it with your teens and it may initiate a conversation about history. It did with my son we read and talked about the historical event that inspired the movie. Geez my kid wanting to talk about history....Scary...Enjoy.

...

My favorite Harry Potter yet. I love every character and with every film they have become more believable. What great lessons this film teaches kids about friendship, loyalty and caring for your fellow wizard or witch. I want to live at the Weasley house it's the most charming and wonderful place I've ever seen. I can't wait for the next film but I also dread it too because it means we're getting ever closer to the end. This film is great for the whole family, may be a little intense for the real little ones. It can be a bit hard to follow if you don't know the books but it's still a great story and holds the interest. It dosen't follow the book rote and letter but that would be impossible so it dosen't really matter. Loved it and have seen it 2 times and will probably watch it again. My teens even loved it....

I feed this food to our really old cat who has stared having trouble eating dry food. I feel it's a great value and it's a name I've been familiar with all my life. The nutrition is probably not as great as the more expensive brands but for our old boy it's adequate. I mix it with a higher end dry food so it all balances out. The price is right and the company donates a certain amount from each can to helping homeless animals. So for a good price I'm getting alot including the chance to help a poor creature that nobody wants. The food looks pretty good coming out of the can and it dosen't make me gag like some canned food I've used before. Our old fellow seems to love it....

antbb says "Yippeee my all time favorite lip balm" about Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm

This is the cadillac of lip balms. Simply it smells wonderful and refreshing, it's cooling, soothing and tingling when it goes on your lips. I use this summer, fall, winter whenever. I even use this under lip gloss or stick. I cannot be without this stuff, nothing else comes close. It's relatively expensive for a tube of lip balm but it works like a charm. It's convenient to use, carry and the little tube is pretty. Geez I'm gushing. Seriously guys this is worth a try, if you've ever wanted to try Burt's Bees this would be the place to start. In a word Yummy....

This is my favorite product ever from Burt's Bees. It smells kind of medicinal but I like it. It's the best stuff for curing dry, gardeners hands quickly. The only drawback is that it is very greasy so just be aware of that. A little really is all you need so don't go overboard with it, besides it's right expensive too. Once again it comes in that miserable tin they insist on putting some of they're products in. The downside is you cannot get that sucker open without a crowbar or some other device. The upside is with the tin you don't waste one little drop of this....

This is good cream if you have really dry feet, elbows or whatever. It really works but is slightly greasy so put your booties on after use. It does do the job however. It's a tad expensive as are all Burt's products but it given good results with natural ingredients. I don't like coconut so I did not find the smell all that appealing but it smelled like real coconut, so I guess that's good. It lasts and a little does go the distance....

This smells refreshing, goes on smoothly and is soothing to the lips. I find the mint to be comforting and refreshing and it works so well. It goes on easily and has nice natural ingredients. I like it very much when I can get that little tin open. What is this thing some medieval torture device. The balm comes in a little tin with a lid that is adult, pet and child proof. I have given up in utter frustration at trying to pry the little demon off so I could polish up my lips. I really don't use this product anymore because of the packaging. Though I do say use it if you have the ability to get to the stuff inside without having a meltdown. Be careful in the heat or even keeping it near your body, it melts very quickly and easily.
...

This is the work horse of the lip balm products. When I need real tough lip healing this is the bomb. It is so inexpensive and it feels great going on. Cooling and soothing. It does have a bit of a strong smell and I don't use if I'm going out on the town. However if you want winter time healing this is your baby. It's also good for cold sores, which is what my sister uses it for. She always has a little container of this. Soooo good lip balm for almost no money I think it works for me.

...

AAAAH heaven in a bottle, who knew that it could be so easy. This stuff is a delight, the fragrance, the bubbles and the soft lucious skin after the bath. We are big into keeping our skin moisturized in my house and this fits the bill. If you use one of those scrunchy sponges a little of this goes a very long way. Silk is a good name for it because that's what it's like, liquid silk. The price is pretty darn good too. Love St. Ives products....

I've use this mascara off and on for years. It comes in a pretty pink package which I sorta like, it's cheap and it has been the mascara of choice by everyone who has eyelashes for a million years or something!!! It works fine, I don't think it's as sexy and grand as it's always described but I don't really have any complaints about it. To sum it up it's a decent tube of reasonably priced mascara that will not make you look like a circus clown. What else could we girls want?...

Let me begin here by saying I am a huge Burt's Bee's fan. Now having said that here goes, this stuff is nasty. It smells and tastes like pollen or something that I can't quite put my finger on. I thought I had gotten ahold of a bad tube or something so I went back and bought another one and Shazam it was not a bit better. I don't even like the texture it's slimy and greasy. I don't reccomend this product it is just foul or should I say fowl....

Where have these things been all my life? Oh Brothers and Sisters these are like magical wands. I now dust everything on a weekly basis, my computer and tv screens stay free of dust. What a vast improvement over the old furniture polish and old sock routine and definitely more sanitary than the feather dusters of old. I feel like I've discovered something that has changed my life. I actually enjoy cleaning. They work folks, they work. They are a no brainer to use and bless them one duster lasts a good while.
