angeloeyes says "Britax is my hero because they keep my kids safe and happy!" about Britax Boulevard

I just love the Britax technology and line of products they offer. I am a house wife on a budge since we are a one income large family with 2 kids in car seats. I never knew how important a 5 point harness was until I saw a video on you tube about a child that should have had one. I sat there crying my eyes out and began to research how I, as a parent could prevent this from happening. I found out that Britax makes some of the best seats out there safety wise. There is a big price tag on them but you can find sales bi-yearly and free shipping to offset the purchase. My younger son rides in a Britax Boulevard and he rode rear facing until 2 years old. Some people say that kids will get uncomfortable but my son was born 8.3 pounds and by 2 months he had hit 16 pounds. Yes, 16 pounds of smiley baby. At one years old he was 30 pounds and tall. He never got upset to get into his cushy recliner of a chair. The only reason I turned his seat around at 2 years old was because he hit the height limit...
...

angeloeyes says "I am offering my kids the best protection there is, a 5pt harnes" about Britax Regent

Have you ever seen the 5 point harness videos? If not search it and you will know that your kids should be in 5 point harnesses for as long as possible. How long is possible? With the Britax Regent you can use a 5 point harness till 80 pounds! That give you more protection than most seats out there. Actually there is only about 3 other companies that can even offer a comparison. Car seats and booster seats are not made equally. A child that is in a booster with a seat belt is not riding very safe. In a 5 point harness they have major protection in the event of a accident. You may never need a 5 point harness but if you are ever in accident you don't want to regret saving $50. I am a informed parent that budget shops to survive. I knew that I had to spend more for these seats but how can you put a price tag on your childs life? I lowered my spending in other areas and got the seats that my kids deserve. My son is almost 6 years old and never complains about his Britax Regent. The straps...
...

angeloeyes says "Best wipes ever!" about Huggies Natural Care Baby Wipes

As a mother of many, I have tried all the latest and greatest baby products and Huggies brand is my favorite hands down. The wipes are strong and never leave my hands mess and that is a biggie for me. They are priced great and found at all the normal stores that I shop and even local pharmacies. Since we have a big family, I also have to budget and bargain shop when I can. I love that Huggies puts out coupons frequently in the Sunday press to help me save for my family and still use the best product out there. My kids all have sensitive skin and this is never a issue with the Gentle care line of wipes. These wipes are thick enough to clean hands and faces and never tear. I have been know to grab a wipe and clean up spills also. They just hold up incredibly. I also like the fact that Huggies sells refills that are less expensive than buying a container of wipes each time. This is a company that is parent minded and conscious of what we need and want. I just can't say enough great things...
...

angeloeyes says "Great phone without a headache" about Blackberry 8830 World Phone

I love new technology but technology does not like me. I try to stay current with the times but some of the gadgets have handbooks the size of a dictionary. I bought my Blackberry World phone for one reason only. I travel over seas and needed a cell phone that would keep me in contact with back home. I have tried other phones and the calls either would not go through or dropped. I have tested this phone several times over seas and it sounds like you are in the other room with the person on the receiving end. Simply amazing.

What was better yet, is the fact that the programs installed are easy to use for even me. I have big hands and love the size of the keys and the fact that there is a full keyboard. The internet is ready and available at the click of a button without lag time. Now I can leave my lap top at home and still keep up on my emails, news and weather. I have used this phone for over a year now and still it is problem free. I am impressed! The only thing that I wish this phone...
...

angeloeyes says "Day #37 and 10 pounds lighter, 8 inches skinnier!" about The Atkins Diet

I started Atkins 37 days ago thinking it would never work but since everything else had failed, why not give Atkins a try. I started at 178.8 and I am now 168.2. I lost 8 inches total off of my body and my clothes show it well. I used to be hungry and crave things all the time and by the end of the first week, my craving disappeared. I used to drink almost a 12 pack of diet coke a day and hated water. Well guess what? I stopped caffeine and now drink 1/2 my body weight in water a day. To those who think it is all meat and boring. Read the book. You are allowed a about 15 net carbs of veggies a day and when you use a digital scale to weigh your foods, that is a lot. I have learned how to make tons of fun and exciting meals that I look forward to and my family can enjoy. The Atkins community is free to join and a great resource. I admit, my weight loss has been slow, but I am still learning about Atkins and my own body and it has been fun. Yes, I said fun. It is fun to wake up and not gain...
...

angeloeyes says "The best stroller on the market in any price category." about Peg Perego Venezia MT Stroller Carriage

This is the best stroller I have ever owned. I had a medium price tag. I paid $400 for mine. I have owned 6 strollers in my baby raising years. This one lasted through 2 kids and will be passed down to other family members. My favorite parts of the stroller is the reversable handles....let's baby face you or baby ride traditionally. I also love the 4 wheel steering, the extra large basket for storage and all the bells and whistles. Baby will thank you....
