      <description>&lt;p&gt;What can I say about this miracle drug? I have suffered with migraines two to three times a week since before my son was born, that's over three years! I was prescribed Imitrex after my son was born. Sometimes&#160;the Imitrex&#160;worked and sometimes it didn't. Then my primary care physician decided to try something more proactive, to stop the migraine from starting&#160;instead of treating&#160;the migraine&#160;after&#160;it began.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I started taking Atenolol about a year and a half ago, and I could not be happier! I only get a migraine about once a month now, and that's usually when I forget to take my Atenolol. I take 25 mg everyday and I am&#160;almost completely&#160;migraine free.&#160;Atenolol, from what I understand, is normally a medication to treat high blood pressure and chest pain.&#160;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I don't know if you suffer migraines as often as I do, but I would suggest asking your doctor about Atenolol. From what I understand the side effects can be fatigue and dizziness, but your doctor would be the best person to ask about...&lt;/p&gt;... </description>
