andrewnyc says "disgusting card" about Bank of America - Nascar Race Points Platinum Plus Visa

one day, i found my card was cancelled without notice. i called them and it took 2 days for them to call me back and explained what had happened. it was because they suddenly found i had 3 bank of american cards during the past 10 years (I found the first one and did not have that card with me anyomre, though it is still open). They asked my data (salary and employer) and said I was cheating because my data was contradictory -- my 3 cards showed 3 employers with 3 different slaraies. It was true because I changed my jobs more than 3 times during these years. They are so stubborn and won't listen to me even if i explained pain-stakingly -- the results is I lost over 50,000 rewards points with my BoA Card.

I suspect they cancelled me card because they purposely wanted to cancelled my over 50K points.

Go to hell, Bank of America Credit Card!
...

andrewnyc says "deceiving and trapped" about Bank of America

Bank of America offers lowest interest rates compared to other major banks (Citibank, Chase, etc.). They tend to charge heavily if your balance drops below $750 even for one day and also twice for average month's balance. The never argue with you and are very stubborn to customers. Besides, their sign-in bonus $50 is much less than Chase of $125(checking)+$40 (Saving).

In 8 months after I get my KTC money back, I will close my checking and saving account.
...

i bought one Dell Inspiron and used for 1.5 years only. Their coverage is not long enough. One years after I spent $150 for repairment, it broke again.

Dell's quality had serious problem. Cheap but insecure!
...

andrewnyc says "safe and easy-to-use" about brita pitcher

I have used it for 11 yesrs so far. other of my relatives used it for 10 years, too. None of us found any flaws with it.

The only disadvantage is the filters' prices increase these years, especially during the last months. It could be sold at $6.99 for 3 filters. But now, you can hardly get it below $12.99 for 3 (occasionally you get promotion offer at $9.99 for 3 filters).

Taste is authentic. I found nothing unusual.
...
