anais43 says "Best for hairstyling" about Aveda Institute - - St Petersburg, FL

The Aveda Institute in downtown St. Petersburg FL is a great place for hairstyling..cuts, color, etc. It is their school, the students cut the hair, etc. (what better way to learn) and there are always teachers on hand for consulting with. This is the second time I have gone there for a cut, the place smells heavenly, everyone is so friendly and helpful and it is very inexpensive.

If you want to experience it for yourself: 235 Third St. South....St. Petersburg FL......727-820-3199.

They also have schools in Orlando and Tallahassee Florida as well, check your phone book for others in your city.
...

I bought a pair of Avia 278's and they are wonderful, true to fit, comfortable. Will definitly recommend them to anyone wanting a good pair of trail running shoes I use them at the gym because of how sturdy they are, I like them because they give my feet the stability they need during a workout....

anais43 says "Works okay" about Signature Gourmet Programmable 12-cup Drip Coffee Maker

Last week my coffee maker blew a fuse and died, I like to drink coffee in the morning and have a cup of two when I get home from work, so I needed to buy a new one. This was inexpensive, but it was/ is programmable, so I bought it. I read through the instructions to clean it for first time use, but it has a strange odor that I can't seem to get rid of.

I have cleaned it twice more using a mixture of water and baking soda but to no avail..I will use it til I can afford to buy one of higher quality.
...

anais43 says "Great gym, trained staff" about Gold's Gym

I belong to Gold's Gym in St. Petersburg Florida and it was one of the best moves I have ever made. The staff are fully trained and very knowledgeable about the equipment, nutrition, etc. It was great hours, so even if you work at night you can still get in and work off any stress you might pick up during the day.

If you are looking to make changes in your life or to just compliment what you have already done this is the place to go. You will not be disappointed!
...

anais43 says "Try the Original Crunchy Grouper" about The Hut at Channelside - Tampa, FL

The Hut at Channelside is across the street from Tampa Hockey Arena..The Hut serves up good food at a great price by a fantastic staff. The staff at the Hut are friendly and efficent..on hockey game nights it's the place to beer, they always have drink specials. The food is great too..they are the home to the original crunch grouper, fresh grouper dusted with flour and then rolled in crushed corn flakes and almonds, it is fried to a golden brown and served on a homemade herb hamburger roll..add lettuce tomato and pickle and tartar sauce and you are good to go!

The menu choices are varied..fresh Florida grouper, mahi-mahi grilled with spicy thai peanut sauce, burgers anyway you like them, chicken, huge, hot and spicy chicken wings, salads all to please your palate.

Everything on the menu is made fresh daily, including the hamburger buns. Next time you are in Tampa for a hockey game, you gotta check them out..right across the street, huge plam tree lined deck..you can't miss it.
...

J Con Hair Salon in St. Petersburg Florida is one of the best and they have every single beauty service you can think of. The best trained staff I have ever encountered, they are knowledgable, friendly, top notch!

At J Con you can have your hair colored, cut..manicures, massages, etc. There is a coffee bar...all of the stylists are trained at the Aveda school..one stylists in particular, her name is Erin is just fantastic and she makes you feel as if you are the only person in the salon while she is styling your hair. If you have a reason to treat yourself or just want to try something new, I suggest you give them a call and make an appointment. You will not be disappointed.

(727) 520 - 7444
...

anais43 says "Great book." about The History of The Rolling Stones

I was about 15 years old and loved The Rolling Stones (still do) my parents weren't too thrilled and yet for Christmas they bought me this book. It made me realize that they just wanted to see a smile on their kid's faces. Meant everything to me. The book contained just about everything you would want to know about the band up to that point, I believe it was 1969. I came to know about the Stones from their song "Honky Tonk Women" and that was it for me..have been a huge fan ever since....
