He was very tall at an early age and seats are very expensive. While looking to replace the old car seat and wanted to only have to buy one more seat as there weren't going to be anymore. My husband and I were at the Chicago Auto Show and saw a demo on car seats and this car seat was recommended by the police officers there. We came back downstate and were able to find it easily. Since purchasing ours, the price has dropped quite a bit. But, it is light and can be easily moved form one to another without a hassle....
