amann21 says "See a lot of Europe in a short amount of time" about Royal Caribbean - Splendour of the Seas

My husband and I sailed on The Splendour of the Seas in August 2007 for our honeymoon. We wanted a European cruise and RCCL was recommended to us by our travel agent. — We started out in Venice, staying for 2 night with accommodations through RCCL. The hotel was just ok, but we were in Venice so we didn't spend too much time in the hotel. We booked all of our transfers through RC and they were seamless. We never had an issue getting to the hotel, boat, or airport. — The boat is older and is on the smaller side but since this was my first cruise, I was fascinated by all of it. We were seated at dinner with 4 other young couples on honeymoons. The food was pretty good and they paid a lot of attention to my food allergies. The service was outstanding- from the waitress to the guy who makes your beds to all the bartenders- everyone was 100% accommodating. — Our ship went from Venice to Dubrovnik, Croatia, to Kusadasi, Turkey, to...

amann21 says "good for tough pimples" about Mario Badescu Drying Lotion

Luckily, I don't get a lot of pimples but when I get a really whopper I turn to this product. You can't use it during the day because it leaves pink lotion on your face, but dab a bit on the zit right before bed and when you wake up it has either disappeared or it much smaller. I even got my husband to use it! It really does miracles on those big gross zits that are so embarassing to have. You just have to stick a q-tip into the bottle and dab it on the zit and you're all set. You can even feel it working on your skin. All of Mario's products are gentle but effective and this one follows...

amann21 says "gentle but effective for very dry skin" about Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye Cream 0.5 oz

I use a lot of the Mario Badescu products so a few weeks ago when I noticed dry, flaking skin on my eye lids (so gross) I went right to their web site to figure out which eye cream I should get. I tried this one because it's not greasy so I can use it in the morning and at night and it's very moisturizing. It cleaned up my eye lids in just a few days and I have continued to use it to keep them soft and smooth. I think it was $18 for .5 oz but it lasts FOREVER. You really need very little each time you use it so it's worth the initial price. I also notice my eye makeup looks better now that my eyes aren't so dry. Well worth...

amann21 says "Free stuff, free fun" about BzzAgent

I love this web site. It was recommended to me by a friend and I couldn't be more thanksful. You fill out a number of short surveys about what you like and what you do and you get invited to try new products for free and then tell people about them. You have to write reports about who you spoke to and what you spoke about but it's actually fun. My friends now look to me to learn about new products and are constantly asking what campaign I am buzzing about now. It's not overly time consuming to do the surveys or to write the reports and the more reports you write the more campaigns you get invited to join. If you like trying new things and getting suprises in the mail, this is the web site for...

amann21 says "take it everywhere you go!" about Bonine Motion Sickness Protection Raspberry Flavored Chewable Tablets (16 Each)

I took this product on a cruise as my sister's recommendation and it saved me. This product is great because you don't have to take it before you get motion sick, you can take it once you are feeling sick and it still works. I had it in my travel bag and one night on the cruise began to feel the rocking of the boat and the motion sickness set in. Instead of ruining my night, I took one of these tiny pills, sat for a few minutes and I was all set for the rest of the evening. My brother in law takes it every time he's in the car with my father. It doesn't have the best taste but I'll say it's better than a pepto and since the pill is so small, the flavor goes away quickly. It's a great staple to have when travelling, just in case....

amann21 says "idiot-proof guide" about Garmin - StreetPilot c340 GPS Receiver

I didn't want to buy this product at first but my husband convinced me that we needed it. We borrowed one from a friend for a road trip to NY and I fell in love with it there. It is so plainly simple and so wonderful. I often miss turns because I cannot see street signs but the C340 calls out the street name and tells you when to turn, and it's accurate! You punch in your destination before you leave, it calculates the route, and you're off. The one negative is that the suction cup often falls off the windsheild, which scares the jeebers out of me. We bought a Garmin beanie-bag thing on Amazon that keeps the unit resting on the dashboard and it does the trick. We love this product so much that my parents, my in-laws, and my aunt and uncle have all bought the same one....

amann21 says "stylish but not always simple" about Dirt Devil Kone Vacuum

I love the look of this dustbuster but it just doesn't hold up. It is so loud and often things it sucks up come back out. It's also difficult to put it back in it's base properly. There is no indicator for how to align in and I find I am fidgeting with it to get it back in the right way. It's too bad, I was really hoping for something stylish and practical....

amann21 says "a baker's best friend" about KitchenAid Stand Mixer

I got this as a gift at my wedding shower and wanted it because I thought it looked cool in everyone's kitchen. Although I live in a small apartment right now and the mixer is living in our guest room, I use it every opportunity I have. It's a bit on the heavy side but that doesn't deter me. It mixes up my cookie batter in an instant and makes great mashed potatoes. If it weren't so expensive, I would buy one for all my friends as wedding presents....
