altmed says "Linked with Amazon.com - 1-stop shopping" about Target Stores

Lots of stuff.. I usually access and find stuff through Amazon.com on Target.com, as the Target website is extremely disorganized and the site needs some help! — — Prices seem to be a bit high, as does the shipping. — — Pretty good deals, altough I usually get frustrated trying t find things since the site needs some serious help in organization.. Example.. I was looking for a specific digital camera and my search brough up a lot of other camera stuff, but also things like sleeping bags, and a ton of other stuff that I can't imagine how it got caught up in that search... even had some dog stuff show up!!! YIKES! — — The things I've ordered through target.com got ordered through the amazon.com website. — — Site needs some serious help! — — ALSO, this website AND Amazon.com's which are linked, which is nice, as you can make wish lists on one or both sites (Amazon has it set up so you can make multiple lists if you like,...

altmed says "Good Prices - site NOT blind-friendly!" about Amazon.com

Great place to buy all sorts of goodies from! Not just books anymore! I LOVE being able to buy used books, as well as new ones from here, AND all sorts of other goodies... CDs, DVDs, DVD sets, kayaks, clothing, cameras, electronis, you name it, they prolly have it on Amazon! — — They allow people and businesses to sell on their web site & I've rarely had problem at all with anything I've ordered, which has been MANY things! (Actually I can't recall a single thing I've bought that I've been unhappy with!) — — Their feedback system is kinda messy and not very accurate! Be aware though that smaller sellers that have less feedback may have low feedback readings, as their feedback is not the easiest to leave and is cumbersome for most people that don't shop there often, so someone can have a 40-50% approval rating, but if the numbers are low, I don't sweat it, as I've also sold on there, and know that if 1 person leaves negative feedback, it can mess up the other...

altmed says "Great place to buy computer components OR pre-built computers!" about NewEgg

Nice place to get computer components at a good price! They have fair prices (often excellent on some items) and I understnad and can see why they seem to have a lot of neighborhood computer stores buying stuff from them! If you take your somputer to a local shop, it's likely this is where theya re getting their supplies! — — Reviews are often from well-versed computer users and professionals in the indutry, and it shows!!! If you read a review there, you can tell by reading it (with a bit of computer knowledge) if the review is by someone who knows what they are doing, or if someone is whining because they simply haven't a clue what they are doing with the parts they ordered. — — I've seen some reviews of motherboards, etc. where there are some compatability issues hardware wise, and some where someone is whinning about Winblows Vista not working on their computer, when the reviewer shows by what they've listed that they are either using untested hardware...

altmed says "Really good quality clothing, housewares, etc. & good prices!" about JC Penney

Some of the clothes may cost a little bit more than something you'd get at Walmart or K-Mart BUT the clothes I've bought at JC Penny's are MUCH better quality and last a LOT longer! — — They also have very large shoe sizes, which is GREAT if you have a teenager or older kid who has sized 16 shoes & such! They even have great (& large sized) work boots for the guys and gals out there you buy for who need these, as well as Birkenstocks in those sizes and regular as well! — — They have ladies Tall sizes too, which for us tall gals is important! — — Their bras are awesome and last longer than ANY others I've bought! I've had bras last literally 3-4 years and longer (the more decorative ones tend to last less time, but then what do you expect?) And I wash them every time I wear them! — — Their sizes are on the money! Once you measure, look at their size charts & you'll have your sizes to order! — — Their towels, high...

altmed says "Great place to fund nice stuff at inexpensive prices! :)" about Classic Closeouts

If you know what you like in the clothing dept. and know the sizing rules (Many items are placed in the women's section that are actually junior sizes & many that are so-called "Plus-sized" are actually regular sizes, as many items I shop for here at Classic closeouts are definitely designer items and are sized as such!) you can get some GREAT deals here! — — The sizes on many items are definetly small so you might want to order a size ot two up from what you normally wear! There are often limited sizes on items as after all, this IS a closeout store! A dead give-away on junior sizes showing up in the Women's dept. is if the sizes of say pants, for instance, are odd & generally fo up to size 13 or 15, thus order accordingly! — — I've ordered a few items that were less than top quality, BUT at the prices they have for these items, it's generally worth the risk (say like $3.99-5.99 for a kid's jacket or $10.99 for an adults!, so if you're willing to take the...

altmed says "Way Over-priced & low quality" about Fingerhut

Everything I've ordered from Fingerhut over the years has been over-priced and low quality. There are better deal to be found on-line especially! Most of the things they sell that aren't low-quality are things you really don't need anf ind yourself giving them to the local thrift stores anyhow (BTW, you can get most of this stuff at the thrift stores at thrift store prices if you really want it!) There is MUCH higher-quality stuff to be found even in a local thrift store if you have a good one (or on my area bunches of them) near-by, but sometimes you can find new stuff that's higher quality for less & new, rather than paying for some of the over-priced thrift stores...
