ally says "What a great baby tub!" about The First Years Sure Comfort Deluxe Newborn to Toddler Tub with Sling

Everyone said that a baby bath tub wasn't necessary but I am glad that I received this as a shower gift. I used it when my baby was small in the sling. He was comfortable and I didn't have to worry about him sliding anywhere. Fits great on a double sink so you don't kill your back while bathing them. Now that he is older and splashes more I just sit it in the tub and he has a blast. He can sit up and have a great time and I know he is a little safer right now in the smaller tub and I don't have the extra clean up of using the big tub. A great tub for the money...Great for us!!!
...

ally says "Does get babies attention" about LeapFrog Little Touch Leappad

We received this as a gift for our son...yes we got a pink one for some reason. He really likes to listen to the music and he tries to press to make the sounds. He got it at 6 months and we couldn't get him to sit very long to look at it. Now at 8 months he is able to sit a little longer and help turn the pages. The pages are very durable. My son has stuck them in his mouth, folded them, wrinkles them and who knows what else. They look a little wrinkled but they are not torn and have to water marks on them. I think as he gets older he will grow more interested in it. Definitely not for a little baby except maybe to enjoy the music. Great as a gift but don't think I would ever buy one myself for my child. To much money for it and the books unless you find a deal.
...

ally says "My son loves it" about Fisher Price Laugh and Learn: Learning Puppy

I bought this for my son for Christmas and he immediately was drawn to the music it plays. He was six months old at the time and could get it to play on his own a little. Now at 8 1/2 months old he is really able to make it work on his own. He will play with it for a long time. I agree it is sensitive but that is fine he is able to make it work and he is happy with that. All of the different tunes it plays are very fun and very interactive. It also helps in learning body parts such as hand, feet, nose, ear, tummy. Along with the body parts you also learn a few colors. I think the only con would be the sensitivity. worse case if you really can't handle it or think it is annoying just turn it off on the back. We love our little puppy!
...

ally says "All you need for diapers!" about Safety 1st Diaper Pail

Bought this diaper pail at a reasonable price. No special bags just put a garbage bag in and you are good to go. Lid closes tight on the top to keep the smell in. Just press the foot petal to open it to put the mess in the pail.

It does smell a little when it is open with a lot of smelly ones in it, but it goes away when it is closed and you can't smell it when it is closed. I like to put a couple of garbage bags in it at a time and when it gets full just pull it out and tie it up and put it with the rest of the garbage. I like the fact that you don't have to buy special bags for it. My regular tall kitchen garbage bags fit perfect in it.

Forget all the other contraptions this is all you need for a smelly diaper.
...

ally says "Great, for baby too!" about The Boppy Company Bare Naked Pillow

I received my bobby bare naked as a shower gift. I liked the fact that I could put whatever color cover on it that I wanted. I used it a little while breastfeeding but found that I was more comfortable with out it.

I used the bobby more to sit the baby on to look around and see things. He would sit for a long time and look at his toys when he was very little. Once he got bigger we used it to help him sit up. With the bobby around him if he fell there was a little cushion there to help.

I found that I got more use out of it for the baby then I did for myself. A wonderful item but not comfortable for everyone to use while breastfeeding.

ally says "Wonderful, Love it!" about Fisher-Price Space Saver High Chair

This high chair is perfect for our small apartment. Affordable, convenient and fits perfect! Just hook it to a chair and you are set. Used this for my son as an infant and he is secure and loves it. Very comfortable and I am sure even as he gets bigger and it is used as a booster chair we will still love it!
The seat is very easy to use. Easy to pull the latch and make it recline or sit up straight. The tray if very easy to clean in a double sided sink and wipes off very easily. haven't tried it in the dishwasher hasn't gotten that dirty yet.
I like the fact that my son is very secure in the seat with the shoulder traps and also the horn that keeps them from sliding forward in the seat. Glad we got this and not a bulky regular high chair.
...
