allieooop says "Easy to grow and Beautiful to look at!" about Garden Lucky Bamboo

Lucky Bamboo is a easy and simple plant to grow. The plants leaves turn yellow and can burn if put in direct sunlight. Many care tips and sites say to add fertilizer, however i have found that the plants leaves burn and upon researching the reason I found that the fertilizer burns the plant so you shouldn't use it....you can tell if this is happening if the tips of the leaves are brown. The BIGGEST thing to know is that flouride which is in Most Tap Water can burn and kill your Lucky Bamboo, you can find out how much flouride is in your tap water by contacting the water department, but since Lucky Bamboo is native to the floors of the rain forest FRESH RAIN WATER is Best for the plant, or spring water. If you still want to use tap water you should fill a tall glass(depending on the size of your plant) with tap water and let it sit over night(or about 24 hours) this will rid the water of flouride and other chemicals. Be sure to drain the majority of the water already in the plant before......

Want to make this short and sweet. I am not a sci-fi freak I like a few sci-fi movies and shows. When I was first introduced to this show I thought...Ugh, but after the first episode I was hooked! The reason I was hooked was that Firefly is Original and Creative! The is a character for each of us(geek,girly,tom-boy,romantic etc) to relate to making this a show for any couple or family. Honestly, Firefly is worth the time and/or money. Firefly is Modern yet Futureristic so your imagination can be let loose, the movie Serenity continues that imagination. A must see!
...

allieooop says "Amazingly Creative!" about Batman - Gotham Knight

Anyone who enjoys the story of Batman or Japanese animation should watch Batman - Gotham Knight. It explores various points of view of the dark knight, from several famous japanese animators in six connected episodes. Each episode is in a different animation style, each with it's own amazing visuals and plot. The episodes connect into a greater story arc which fills in some of the gaps between Batman Begins and Dark Knight. WIth the voice actors from the Batman animated series lending their talent, all the elements are there for great adventure and further exploration of the motives that drive Batman....
