aliciaring says "Ok but overpriced" about Applebees - Pikeville, KY

Originally a resident of Virginia, I moved to Kentucky at the age of 18. I was new to the area and new to local restaurants, so I began trying out places. Obviously, Applebees is a huge chain of which I am familiar with. When I ate at this particular Applebee's, I was only moderately satisfied with the service. The restaurant staff were ok, but the food was only of substandard quality. When I recieve my meal it was slightly cold and appeared to have been setting out for some time. The sides were dry and my tea was swimming in sugar.

As a vegetarian, Applebees proves to be a huge disappointment. While they do have the more health concious weight watcher choices available to dieters, they do not have any true vegetarian options on the menu. In a society in which MANY MANY MANY people are vegetarians and acting in more health concious ways, it surprises me that Applebees has not joined the competition by offering veg friendly alternatives. Thankfully, I am not a full vegan...
...

aliciaring says "Covergirl Lash Blast- an average mascara" about CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara

This mascara was very much average. At a drugstore price, it is drugstore quality. I prefer Maybelline Full and Soft which runs about the same price. The brush used for this mascara is very flimsy. I believe it was designed this way as to make the mascara easier to apply and easier to reach all lashes; however, I found this wasn't the case. Rather, the brush made it difficult for all lashes to be adaquately coated.

That said, if you are looking for a run of the mill inexpensive mascara, this would work well. This mascara would be suitable for teens or anyone who is looking for a less than dramatic look. While i was not totally satisfied wiith the quality of this product, i did take in to consideration that this was a cheap mascara which can be purchased at stores such as CVS, Walmart, Rite Aid, Walgreens, etc. Even more so, at these stores, this mascara is one of the cheaper ones. I did not expect high quality department store mascara when I bought this. I wouldn't say I am dissatisfied;...
...
