aef3482 says "Great affordable face soap for sensitive/irritable skin" about Cetaphil Antibacterial Gentle Cleansing Bar

I have repurchased Cetaphil Antibacterial Gentle Cleansing bar at least 5 times. Several times I've strayed to other face washes or bar soaps and I always come back to this. It gently cleans my face, without leaving it dry or tight feeling. I have medium oily skin, that gets dry in places. My face skin is very sensitive and gets irritated easily. I am breakout prone and this has never caused break outs for me. It has a nice "non-scent" which doesn't irritate like some scented products do. I use it on my body too. It is very gentle on my body skin too, and still effectively cleans. This bar soap also comes in a non-antibacterial version. Definitely recommend....

aef3482 says "Great for naturally curly/wavy hair on a budget!" about Garnier Fructis Curl Sculpting Cream-Gel

I love Garnier Fructis Curl Sculpting Cream-Gel! It turns my s-shaped waves into bouncing, well formed waves. I'd call it "medium" hold. I use it at night on towel-blotted hair, scrunching it through. I let it air dry over night. It is never crunchy or greasy, however I do keep it away from the roots of my hair. You don't need much so a bottle will last awhile. My hair is down to my bra band in the back and I use a dollop about the size of a nickle. I love the smell, it's fruity. The person below who mentioned a putty-like consistency is obviously talking about a different product, as this product is more of a creamy gel. I'd definitely recommend it!...

aef3482 says "Wonderful smell but no curl enhancing features" about Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Shampoo

I'm not impressed at all with Herbal Essence Totally Twisted curl enhancing shampoo. It does the exact same thing my suave shampoo does, except it costs several dollars more. I have wavy hair, that hits the middle of my back. It's somewhat coarse, with dry ends and an oily scalp. This shampoo had no effect on my waves at all. It didn't straighten them, but it certainly did not "enhance" them. It didn't hurt my hair or scalp but it definitely didn't do anything to improve it. The only good thing is the scent. It does have a wonderful scent, that smells very fruity. The smell does not linger after shampooing. I will finish up the bottle, but won't be repurchasing....

aef3482 says "Works adequately if you're not in the mood to shave" about Nair Shower Power

I love Nair Shower Power Hair Remover! Sometimes I just don't feel like messing with using shaving cream and a razor. Nair Shower Power removes all of the hair and doesn't sting or burn my legs like other hair removers (even shaving) do sometimes. I usually leave it on for six to eight minutes, a bit longer than the recommended time. It's thick enough that it is not supposed to come off in the shower, but I usually step back away from the direct spray while I have it on. The smell is tolerable; not hideous like past hair removers but not wonderful either. Overall, it does what it says it will do. I recommend it!...

aef3482 says "Nice beads to exfoliate, gentle yet effective scrub" about Clean & Clear BLACKHEAD SCRUB

I've used Clean and Clear blackhead clearing scrub on and off for years. I typically use it 2-3x/week in the shower on my face. It has smooth, round beads in it that seem to exfoliate. It also has salisylic acid for chemical exfoliation. This product is probably best for drier/sensitive skin since it might not be enough for really oily, acne prone skin. Also, if you use a generic, the Rite Aid brand works exactly the same. The Target brand is way thicker and creamer and I ended up with a few pimples. But overall, I will likely continue to use this scrub and would recommend it for others that need exfoliation or to clear up blackheads.
...

aef3482 says "Gentle cleaning with an awesome smell!" about LUSH Rock Star Soap

Lush products are all natural. All of their products are vegetarian and a lot are even vegan. Lush Rockstar soap is my absolute favorite product of theirs! It cleans very gently (which I need- I usually have to use a very plain, unscented soap because I have irritable skin) without making my skin itchy or blotchy. It lathers up nicely. It rinses off completely, with no residue left on the skin. And it has the most AMAZING smell. It smells like candy/strawberry/vanilla scented. It's a very strong smell, too- I can smell it on my skin after the shower and it always scents up my whole bathroom!...

aef3482 says "Yummy smell, light conditioning and smoothing!" about LUSH American Cream Conditioner

Lush is a great natural brand. All of its products are vegetarian and a lot of them are vegan! Lush American Cream conditioner smells so yummy! It reminds me of a light vanilla and maybe strawberry? sort of smell. Not overly sweet though. I have an oily scalp, with dry ends. This conditioner moisturizes my hair without making my scalp greasy. It leaves my hair feeling very silky and shiny. It has no silicones in it and has all nautral ingredients. It's very nice! However, I really can't justify the price. It's $8.75 for 3.3 oz which is pretty pricy. If I have a GC or receive it as a gift, I'll definitely keep using it though!...

aef3482 says "Small and sleek but a powerful laptop!" about Apple iBook G4

Although I absolutely love my Mac and will never switch back to a PC now, I have to admit I've had some problems with the Ibook G4. The logic board has died on me 2x now in 3 years (I bought it April 2005), which is unacceptable in my opinion. I had the AppleCare protection plan so they've replaced it for free each time. However I've had to take it to an Apple Genius bar and they've had to mail it in for repairs each time. And that really shouldn't be happening on a computer this new. Otherwise, it is fast, sleek, and so much simpler than using a Windows PC. I will never stray from Apple!...

aef3482 says "Easy for texting, decent camera, excellent phone!" about LG - env 2 Cell Phone

This is my favorite phone that I've owned (I've always had motorolas before now). It has a qwerty keyboard that is nice and wide for easy texting. It also closes for talking on the phone. It's very clear and I never have dropped calls. It's SO easy for texting! The camera is decent; I've used better. But it does what it needs to do. I would highly recommend this phone, especially for avid texters!...

aef3482 says "Magellan Maestro 4000 is a handy, portable, affordable GPS unit!" about Magellan - Maestro 4000 GPS Navigation System

This is the perfect "first" GPS. It's intuitive in use, there's nothing difficult about it. The screen is big enough to see easily but still portable. The colors are very bold. I took off a star because it has steered me wrong once or twice. But that is out of thousands of locations so I don't mind. I'd definitely recommend it!...
