      <description>We reviewed the theater section of our Friday newspaper. Hairspray received very high marks. We relied on the review. What a disappointment. The theater was uncrowded for&amp;nbsp;our show.(approximately&amp;nbsp;7:00 P.M. start)&amp;nbsp;It appears that either&amp;nbsp;more people preferred a later show or&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;others were more&amp;nbsp;diligent in their research than I and selected a different movie out of the 15 showing. (I generally&amp;nbsp;select a later start time too, but we thought the theater might be too crowded.&amp;nbsp;Nevertheless,&amp;nbsp;there is no substitute for thorough preparation and inquiry.) In my opinion, Travolta and Walken did not advance their careers in this movie. I can't remember any of the songs, so I won't be whistling them. In my judgment, Hairspray is no Sound of Music, My Fair Lady,&amp;nbsp; Phantom of the Opera, Fame, or even Grease.  &amp;mdash; Neverthless, since my first commentary (i.e., the paragraph above)&amp;nbsp;I found&amp;nbsp; other&amp;nbsp; reviews&amp;nbsp;that are so positive, I... </description>
