acchow says "great looking, great performing shoe" about adidas - CC Feather III Tennis for Men

i hadn't played tennis in a while, but i still wanted a pair of functional shoes that i could wear around casually also. i am biased towards the adidas brand, but this shoe was rated highly in tennis magazine as well. this shoe has a snug, comfortable fit that just feels like your foot is being fully supported. i've yet to notice much wear on the outsole even though i've played tennis and basketball in them (although i really wouldn't recommend using these for basketball only because it doesn't provide the high ankle support a pair of high tops does). and need i say anything the looks of this shoe? it's stylish enough for the country club and slick enough for the streets....

acchow says "not a very durable shredder, and loud to boot" about Royal VF880 Shredder

we purchased this shredder at our local target when it was on sale. and lucky for us, it was on sale... because this shredder doesn't have much going for it. first off, it is a loud shredder. the fact shredder and receptable are enclosed doesn't help muffle the noise much. also, even though it claims to be able to shred credit cards, it sounds like an out of shape man running on the treadmill after 5 minutes... the motor can barely move the card through the shredding "teeth." and after not even a year, and only occassional use, it's dead in its tracks....

acchow says "a good experience for first-time cruisers" about Norwegian Cruise Line - Star

this was my first cruise, and i really didn't know what to expect. what i looked forward to most were the ports of call, and this cruise had some nice one. zihuatanejo/ixtapa was really great in particular. the boat's amenities are average i'd say, and service was friendly. i've heard that other cruises have restrictive dining times and strict dress codes. norwegian had neither of these, which made the who on-boat experience much more enjoyable for me. the typical norwegian cruiser seems to be a little older than my age group (30's) it seems, and is quite family-friendly. however, if you're looking for a younger, more party-like atmosphere, this may not be the cruise line for you. although i enjoyed my first cruise with norwegian, i'll most likely try another company next time just to have a comparison. overall though, it was a good first cruise experience....
