aattura says "Italian Food like my Nonna Lucia used to make!!!" about Pines of Naples - Arlington, VA

The Pines of Naples, in Arlington VA is a quiet little restaurant on the top of a 2 story walkup -- it is a pleasant place to spend an evening with friends OR by yourself.

Iliana ("eeleeana"), the owner, cook and matire d' -- makes her own Italian food from scratch and dotes on each customer like a wonderful Italian mother or grandmother would -- many of the folks in this restaurant are "regulars", and judging by the food and the service, I can understand why!

The menu is 3 pages long, with a GOOD portion of one page devoted to nothing but Vegetarian Italian specialties -- no matter what you order, all of the selections in the entire menu are tasty and filling -- and the price is right!!!

The appetizers are also not to be missed, the wine list and beverage list is very good, and at the end of your dinner, make sure you save room for an espresso, with a cannoli or a tartufo, or any one of the other equally delicious dessert selections!!

...

aattura says "You CAN taste the difference "Organic" makes!!!" about Cascadian Farms Organic Frozen Orange Juice

Cascadian Farms doesn't only produce Organic Frozen Orange Juice- but a variety of other great Organic products

http://www.cascadianfarm.com/products/product_detail.aspx?cat=18-

- however we're here to talk about their Organic Frozen OJ -- which also has mountain spring water added to it in the can.

The price is reasonable-- and this OJ tastes fresh, fruity and full-flavored. IMHO "Organic" should mean "top quality" and Cascadian Farms Organic Frozen OJ doe not disappoint.

In this world which is getting increasingly more polluted, why not counter this pollution by filling your systems with the best Organic food products that nature has to offer?

Thank you, Cascadian Farms, for your committment to Oraganically raised products - raised with quality, price, good nutrition and good taste in mind.

...

aattura says "It's a cool car IF you know how to treat it." about Chevrolet 1973 - Vega

I bought this Chevy Vega Panel Express in 1973 -- What's a Panel Express? i "Station Wagon with only ONE front seat (driver's of course) and metal panels in the back where the windows should be AND large covered storage bins behind the driver's area.

I bought this little Panel Express so I could go camping and traveling. And so I could sleep in the back at rest stops -- I outfitted her with indoor padding, mattress, Tape Deck and CB (this WAS the 70's) and multiple speakers, lights, even curtains -- and underneath the car I outfitted her with sport suspension and sway bars (all NON-standard and not even options for the Panel Express-- but the Vega GT components fit very nicely!) and also a Hurst linkage for the standard (Saginaw) 4 speed gearbox -- wow this car was a sweet little traveler!!!

Chevy actually brought out the Panel Express with a view to its becoming a small delivery van (at the same time that Pinto brought out its own version of a Panel Express) -- and the Vega Panel Express...
...
