Viper9 says "Yellow Corvette hard to miss & hard to pass!" about Chevrolet Corvette - 2004

This yellow Chevy Corvette turns more heads around to look at it than the Mitsubishi Twin-turbo red AWD car I had previously. I bought this one used from a dealer in Houston who stood behind the car when it acted up within a couple of weeks. Seems it had an oxygen sensor go out on it to the tune of $550.00. They paid for all of the repairs from Corvettes of Houston truly a Superb dealer. The car is a stock 350 cubic inch which develops 350 horsepower to the rear wheels. When you take off the traction control you're able to smoke the tires for about as long as you want to power brake the car. You'd better hold on as the car will take off quite fast after that if you're not ready for it. That traction control really does it's job on this Vette. I also have the heads up display, the Bose sound system and the Z51 handling package with a brown (saddle) interior, with a removable center top so it's close to a convertible that you can get without a 'T' in the center. The top fits neatly in...

Viper9 says "Best Gas Mileage of any car on the market right now!" about Toyota Prius - 2005

The 2005 Toyota Prius has an actual gas mileage of 45 on the highway and about 50-55 city driving in town. The only drawback is that when it drops below freezing then the gas mileage will drop also. The dealer claims that's inherent because it takes the on-board computer 10 days to adjust itself from the climate in New Mexico to say Nebraska during the winter months. This Feb 2008 we saw gas mileage lowest of 28-35 mpg, then once we came back to New Mexico it was once again 45 mpg. I just wish they had a lumbar in the seats of the Prius as this is our primary over the road vehicle. We had previously owned a 2002 GMC Yukon, a 1999 Dodge Avenger, a 1992 Mitsubishi 3000 GT-VR4, and now have a 2004 Chevy...

The Honda Goldwing 2005 that I have was bought brand new in 2005 and now has 39,000 miles on it. I love the way it handles all kinds of roads and the weather, plus it's a fun time for my wife and I to go out and enjoy the surrounding country here in Albuquerque,...
